Great service, wonderful views. Very fair prices.
Ordered fish and chips with a pint of Caught By The Tide ale. Fish was huge and ale was delicious. Service was friendly and allowed my wet Alaskan Malamute to sleep under the table too. Lovely stuff.
Fantastic location right by the Priory with beautiful views to the sea. Bedrooms were fairly basic, but clean and comfy. The chap at the reception was brilliant, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles though, no one seemed to be checking on things - the juices and croissants ran out and weren't replaced until one of the guests hunted out a member of staff to point it out (although the croissants never arrived), no milk jugs for guest tables (so every time you poured a cup of tea or coffee you had to go over to the buffet to use the big jug). Just niggles, but it could have been better.
It a bit run down could do with a professional decorator going in as it has clearly been touched up by someone who does diy
living off its fantastic location the food is poor and they really need to look into the meaning of continental breakfast as theirs did not resemble anything like one, needs to have senior person on duty to coordinate the staff. Very poor for the price.
Food was great, well, apart from the chips, a bit raw, but over all a lush bar, clean tidy and great atmosphere. Nice location on holy island too!
Very nice food, pleasant staff and good service despite there being a very large party being served at the same time. Really enjoyed our visit.
Good food and drinks, very fresh but a shortage of some ingredients due to location and bank holiday weekend. Staff helpful but a little overworked at times. Good communication and amusing banter. Enjoyable evening!
Come for some quick food and the steak and ale pie was decent, but nothing special. Great environment and atmosphere however, and the fish is supposed to be outstanding so perhaps I ordered the wrong meal. I would return though, it was a very nice place.
We had the family room with views front and back, comfy beds! Lovely brekkie and great food generally. Only problem was the room was a bit cold.
