Manor House Surgery

Very good surgery my only complaint would be some of the reception staff can be rather rude and rush you off the phone, also the new prescription service is not good ie ordered medication online it hasn't been sorted ring reception to be told we don't deal with prescriptions. Well who does then!?

Google details say open til 6:30, - as a result of this I've now got to go an entire weekend without any medication! Website wasn't available to check, for a dr's surgery they need to have this information accurate!

Blood test fiasco. The first time a nurse did not take the tests the specialist consultant requested, so when I turned up to my appointment with him he did not have the information he wanted to manage my medication or condition.
6 weeks later and the second attempt to get the blood tests done as requested by the consultant, ended when the appointment with a nurse did not happen.
I arrived 5 minutes before my 10.30 appointment and watched a nurse wander around the reception for 15 minutes. I left after waiting for a quarter of an hour. I understand and accept doctors may run over with appointments due to the complexity of some consultations.
However, the mechanics of a blood test take no more than 10 minutes!
Thankfully, the tests, medication and condition management are not that important for an obese, diabetic, hypertensive, cardiac rehabilitation patient...............are they

Great Surgery with very friendly staff. I have a very rare condition which has been welcomed an sufficiently ongoingly treated. Highly Recommended if your looking to change surgery.
