Very good Sunday lunch. Beef and Yorkshires in good portions. Pint of Sunbeam spot on. Good service from very friendly staff. Party for kids at 4pm. Tip....dnt sit near the bar area if you are sensitive to swear words.

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE AND FOOD!!! I ordered the steak and pedigree ale pie, the pastry was lovely but the meat was a different story it was like chewing grisly fat thin air, excuse my manners buy I had to spit it out, oh top tip when the smokers are outside I done apriciate both double doors been open and 20 benson and hedges been blown over my food!

Food is great, and staff are friendly. I have been a few times, and each time was perfect, apart from one when a member of my party asked for rare/blue meat and they received it well done three times. After an apology from management they got their steak the way they like it.

Delicious food, we've been a few times now and have never been disappointed with anything so far. Great choice on the menu to suit most people. The lunchtime menu is great till 5pm, not as much choice but the portion size is decent with 2 courses for £5.99 and 3 courses for £6.99. There's a small area which is ideal for families with children and is close to the toilets. Friendly and helpful staff. Give it a try and see for yourself.
Recently visited and they had had a brief power cut which had caused a delay in service. The staff rallied round and there was little disruption and no disgruntled customers. When the food arrived it was hot and delicious as always.

My daughter and her family live local to it,njoy it a lot good food,atmosphere, friendly staff..good public bar.

Food and service always good, staff helpful and friendly. However the quiz nights are becoming increasingly poorly run through inexperienced staff with terrible microphone technique.

Lost its character... good beers but heavily monitored by the landlord. More focuses 1on food service than being a traditional pub. Refurbishment has turned it into a plastic pub. Always a 3rd or 4th choice to come for a pint. Such a shame.......
