Good for some electric things

Helpful staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

Very good branch of the Maplin chain. After being sold the completely wrong product in the Bournemouth branch of Maplin I returned the item to Salisbury where the staff member was able to find exactly what I needed and do a suitable replacement. Very friendly and highly recommended.

Decent sized store with well laid out aisles for finding what you're looking for. As with all Maplins, I sometimes wish the staff were a little less eager to find out if I need any help... Always leaves me feeling like they're trying to push a sale on me.

That said, all of the staff I've interacted with at this store have been very knowledgeable.

Knowledgeable staff. While the prices aren't quite as cheap as online they are very reasonable considering you don't need to wait and can ask questions before you buy

Great store, good selection of goodies and helpful (ish) staff who generally have a fair knowledge of the gear they are selling.

The only thing that prevents this being 5 star is the prices. Great store, great staff, but you know you're paying to much
