Very knowledgeable and helpful. They couldn't do more to help me understand the problem I came in with and help me find an answer. They weren't interested in flogging me the most expensive item.

The usual Maplin, pounced on as soon as you get in the door. Prices are generally more expensive than you can get online but there are sales and deals that you can get low priced goods for.

A surprisingly good stock availability. Usually have the components I need. The floor staff aren't always 100% able to answer technical questions, but the guys behind the counter usually have more specific knowledge.

Useful incase you need something quickly. But alot products are way overpriced. I understand that there is a markup on products, but there's a limit. Just another store that makes an example of why I shop online. You feel like you get a brilliant deal with every purchase, whereas in a store like this, you'd feel ripped off. The staff are pleasant and try their best with any questions etc. The store is well presented too, nice and clean.
