High quality food & drinks in a relaxed setting.

What a lovely place. Very relaxing atmosphere, great selection of food, wine and cocktails. The staff were superb, Sam couldn't have been more helpful and cheerful directing us on our menu choices. Very obliging chef who prepared more food for us at the end of the evening for a late guest. A big thank you to Guy who arranged our journey home. Would highly recommend and will visit again when returning to Leicester.

What a fabulous place! Great atmosphere. Fantastic interior and very comfortable and relaxing environment to be in. The staff couldnt do enough for you to make you feel welcolme. The wine list is really great... very 'quaffable' .... the food came at a good steady pace, plenty of options and great portion sizes. Its obvious that lots of thought has gone it to making this place special and we shall go back, frequently... 👍 a great night out... cracking location... 10 out of 10... loved it...

We knew we'd love this place before we walked through the door & it didn't disappoint. The food menu is extensive, with something to suit all tastes, portion sizes are spot on & everything is very reasonably priced. There's a small but perfectly formed cocktail menu & a wide selection of delicious wines to work your way through. As expected, the team are amazing & work hard to make sure everyone enjoys their night, especially Sam. Can't wait to come back. Xx

We just had an awesome time here to celebrate my dad's 60th Birthday!! Amazing food, amazing service and amazing atmosphere!! Very happy!

We had a fab night here! The wine and cocktails were great. Food portion sizes meant that the four of us could share and try a little bit of lots of different dishes. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I will definitely be visiting again.

Very professional wait staff who took my mother's Alzheimer's issues in their stride yesterday (I think the clientelle are usually a lot younger). I like the selection of small dishes they specialise in and they coped with my Gluten Free diet well. Lovely fish and I rarely rave about mushroom risotto but the garlic mushroom one here is noteworthy. (Particularly nice sauce with my salmon too and my mother loved her sea bass). Just as good today.

The "new kid" on the block doesn't disappoint- very friendly, nice ambience, and delicious food - unusual flavours and combinations delight. The wine by the glass is very reasonable - and was pleasantly surprised by the bill !!

I really liked it! The food was great and the service was courteous. I agree with other reviewers that the service was a little slow; however, I liked this as it made for a more relaxed atmosphere.

I held a pre wedding girlie gathering here on 30th September. The food was fabulous and Sasha and the team looked after us all. The food was fabulous. Pre or post cocktails at the Toast Inn is a must too. Thank you for making my day/ evening

The occasion was for my daughters Hen Party (mainly older ladies). We were greeted quite politely, but couldn't have our pre-booked tables yet as the previous diners hadn't vacated them. some while later we were led to our tables and our food was promptly served, although it was nice and a grand variety of dishes they were luke warm, the only 'hot' dish was a plate of chips served right at the end. My friend and I ordered hot chocolate this again was luke warm but we sent these back. My daughter who had organised her sisters night asked for the bill, only to find errors on it. £100 deposit had not been deducted, and there was a an error in the number of dishes we'd received. There had been a 30% service charge added, which my daughter disputed, this too was deducted. Not too sure if I will going again

First visit to Marabel, nice atmosphere for a Friday night. We were advised to select 3 tapas style dishes but we opted for 2 each plus a salad which was fine for 2 people not so starving. Food itself was tasty but was let down by all the dishes being cold, had to send them back to reheated �. The Tiramisu was disappointing as it was predominantly cream and the chocolate cheesecake was more like whipped cream. All our feedback was listened to and the customer service was outstanding. Would I return again?...not in a rush, needs a few improvements.

We booked an evening out to Marabel yesterday evening and disappointingly, the service was extremely slow, to the extent our first round of drinks were forgotten. It was only after 40 mins had past, we spoke to the bar tender and realised our order hadn't reached them. The most annoying and frustrating part of the meal, was when a suprise went wrong to bring out anniversary cupcakes with candles. The waitress asked our table openly - 10 minutes following the request for a surprise - "Who ordered the candles?". This completely ruined what we had planned for friends of ours, who were celebrating their anniversary. We ended up cancelling the whole idea! At the end of our meal, we thought it would be a nice way to finish the evening to order a final round of drink. It had just past 11pm and we were told the bar were not allowed to serve us as the bill had been settled. This was ridiculous and a huge contradiction in itself, as when we had left the restaurant, we noticed another customer had just been served a drink! The experience was a complete shambles. The food, wine and Italian tapas concept was enjoyable; unfortunately the service led to a poor execution.

Very disappointed food took an hour and a half to arrive,when it did finally arrive most of it was cold had to send it back,short staffed no manager on site even though they reduced the bill at the end left feeling hungry would not go back.
