Went for my birthday lunch. Scallops with pancetta, black pudding & cauliflower purée were delicious. The chateau briande steak was cooked perfectly and the triple cooked chips were the best I’ve ever had. Sticky toffee pudding was a triumph. Service great and very friendly. A perfect place for a celebration.

I booked a table for tonight back in August but on arrival they had no record. However, we were asked to take a seat with a complimentary glass of prosseco and within 5 mins a table was made available for a party of 4. Great meal and service. One thing I would request is the cheese (cheddar) with the drunk fruitcake needs to be stronger. Look forward to our next meal.

Amazing! Staff were lovely and friendly. Brilliant atmosphere. Food and cocktails were amazing. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing food, service was also fantastic. So friendly and welcoming, honestly couldn’t have had a better meal. My steak was perfection and the dessert was to die for!!!
