Visited here yesterday whilst on a shopping trip and I must say it's such a clean tidy little pub, the food was excellent and service was very quick from using the app and staff were really friendly

Really good service only fault had to go bar for my drinks instead of waiter service

Popped in for a spot of lunch on my first ever visit to Manchester. Found the staff very pleasant and friendly and drinks were perfect. The food arrived at a good time and was nicely cooked and presented. Well done.

I visited yesterday for a drink and found it very relaxing. The lady who served me at the bar was very polite. I have eaten there in the past and the food and drink I had then was lovely too. I will definitely go back.

Cold food came out for myself yet daughter's was piping hot. Sometimes, things do go wrong, it's how it is put right that matters. I have to say they were straight on it and I got a new fresh dish very quickly with a lot of apologies.



Then the desserts came. I have an extremely fussy eater who doesn't like her ice cream melted on brownies, she prefers them separate. Not an issue at all at the till, but the kitchen didn't get the memo. Bit fed up by that point so didn't send it back as it was quite trivial. The aircon was on full blast, which whilst I appreciate kitchen staff must be roasting, all customers had coats and jackets on, so don't go if you don't like it cold! All in all, the service was very good and the quality for the price is ace. It's not put me off and I'd definitely go back.

Went yesterday for breakfast with a friend, I ordered the full English & my friend ordered eggs Benedict, mine was hot & I enjoyed it, but my friends was not, the hollandaise sauce tasted 'sour' we told the waitress & asked for either a replacement or something else, apparently the Hollandaise sauce came from a "sachet" not what I'd expect, it's not hard to make it from scratch.... she exchanged it for a Bacon sandwich in the end.

Went Christmas eve for a treat... ordered two kids meals.. a mixed grill and a chicken n rib combo.. food came within 20 mins.. kids meals were great... but on ours the meats were only warm.. waiter asked if we wanted it 're heating in the microwave or a fresh one. We asked for fresh. When it came 15mins later it was warmer but not piping hot.. and the onion rings were all watery inside... and they had reheated some of the original meat... we still had fun but don't think we'll be going back.

Asked for well done Sirloin and well done mixed grill both steaks almost rare not good

1. When you are dining alone, you have to leave your seat to go and order at the bar & give your table number, lugging your shopping bags with you, only to return to table & someone else is sat there. I tried the app & it was trying to charge me extra for a drink when it should have been included.

2. One tablespoon of beans on a jacket potato means it is very dry. For £8.95 & beans being the cheapest food on the planet, I would expect a good portion.

3. The large advertising board outside only has drinks on. I counted 7 couples look at the board & walk off meaning that you are losing countless orders as no one knows what you are offering!

Unfriendly bar staff, out of the beer we wanted, out of fish for fish and chips. No atmosphere. The only highlight was the table server.

Poor service and ran out of currys on curry day very poor ordered for five people but had no korma for the kids, rice was very dry on mine could be loads better and you would expect better in trafford centre. Will not eat there again.

Food is really bland !!!! Won’t be returning anytime soon

Went here last week as treat for my sons birthday the food was shocking cremated burgers which was cold obviously been warmed up ,burger buns were hard,salad was missing looked like food had just been thrown on plate defo won’t be going there again biggest waste of £40 ever .

Was in there today and the manager called Macaler was absolutely disgusting to a young man that obviously had just started,what a great example she set to him,and all the other young staff that still work there sadly for them...she was so rude to the young man I was so embarrassed for him and she actually looked like she was enjoying bullying this young man in front of his peers....what type of business are you running?.....

They don’t do pancakes here so the kids ordered porridge, whilst waiting they came and said they’d ran out of honey, one was really runny one was really dry, I had a traditional breakfast, the beans looked like they’d been on the plate overnight and the whole thing was Luke warm, it wasn’t busy while we were there

Just had our dinner there my husband ordered the mixed grill was told there was no steak but the allegedly put a chicken steak on he said he couldn’t see or taste the difference the woman on the next table had the same but she had tomatoes, where were his no continuity and it was lukewarm. I ordered the Whitby scampi the crumbed batter was over cooked but the scampi was raw sent it back and it was replaced again scampi burnt chips were greasy peas hard will never eat there again £25 wasted on crap food

Arrived for lunch and wouldn’t let us in with the buggy - said it may block the walkway! When I pointed out a suitable table with space for the buggy at the side, the miserable waitress said no! Needless to say - walked out and went to TGI’s where the staff could not have been more helpful.
