Words of Wisdom from Bookie fave Richard Skinner. He'll be joining us later this year in Margate.
Another important aspect of Margate's history is being preserved:
This Sunday is the last Bee's Bookshare for a while. If you can help the group find a new home we’re sure Bee would be pleased to hear from you.

This is very cute! Something to do with your small people this weekend?
This is such a shame for Margate 😕
We're really looking forward to this exhibition:
This #WorldPoetryDay it's fitting to tip our collective hats to Connor Sansby, who works his socks off to champion local poets. His Bookie Slams are a real highlight of the festival. Thanks, Connor!
If you're in Margate today, keep an eye out for a group of local poets determined to brighten your day...

This is fab. Margate has several little libraries now; let’s hope they’re all well used. And don’t forget the big libraries too!
We have spent a very enjoyable afternoon at Radio Margate, listening to Daisy Buchanan speak about her new book, The Sisterhood. Today’s event was a special edition of Bee's Bookshare for the POW Thanet festival.
Alongside Daisy’s book we discussed and shared books by, or about, women and The Margate Bookshop was on hand with a fab selection of books by brilliant female authors.
Check out the POW Thanet website for other great events during the week ahead and keep an eye out for the next Bookshare on Sunday 14 April.

Happy Publication Day to Daisy Buchanan. The Sisterhood is a celebration of female friendship and we think it will prove as popular as Daisy’s previous book, How To Be A Grown Up.
Daisy will be at Radio Margate this Sunday at 2pm for a special edition of Bee's Bookshare for POW Thanet. See you there!
