What a warm, welcoming and approachable group of people who run this restaurant. We came here for my dad's birthday and had such a lovely evening. The food was tasty and plenty of it, at such a reasonable price. I dropped my knife and before I could even ask a staff member for another the waiter had already brought me a new one! They took into consideration it was my dads bday and brought a complimentary chocolate cake with a candle in and sang him happy birthday- wasn't expecting this. Overall great service, a good menu selection and staff that go above and beyond to make you enjoy your meal. We will be back very soon :-)
We came here as a family for a Christmas meal. The food was excellent, the meat was seasoned well and was lovely and tender. We had starters and mains but had no room for dessert as the portion sizes were so good. We were even more surprised at the bill, which worked out about ┬Ż27 per person for a starter, main, and one alcoholic drink. Very good value given the portion sizes.
Our waiter accidentally poured the remaining bottle of Shiraz which was being shared between my two brothers into my husband's glass of Merlot. Despite us saying it was fine, the waiter came back minutes later with a fresh glass of Merlot.
Shame we couldn't manage dessert as I'm sure they would have been as nice as the rest of the food. Would definitely come here again.

Very impressed by the food,which was absolutely delicious, great portion size (large so don't eat before you go) and excellent service. If I lived in the area I would be a frequent diner. Worthy of 5 stars in my opinion.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the atmosphere in restaurant so relaxing. We had a great time thanks to all the staff who is working there.

Best family vibe restaurant in Woodford! Great hospitality from the minute we walked in, as I had pre booked but not mentioned I had elderly grandparents coming so without my stay our waiter suggested a down stairs table instead to help with there needs! The guys and restaurant owner made such an effort as it was my birthday. Sing and candles absolutely lovely! Food was outstanding and I literally feel like someone should stick a fork in me!!! Amazing! And the desserts I had a lemon sorbet that was actually in a lemon!!! You can tell everything's home made! You can also see food being made in the kitchen through a glass panel which gives great theatre! I would defiantly come again!!
Been coming to the restaurant for over 2 years and they never let you down. Great food and staff and always good value. If you fancy good food and staff then this place is a must
Amazing food, attentive and efficient service- just a shame it's so far away from where we live!! Was worth the trek for a lovely family birthday meal

We waited ages for the bill, but they knocked a couple of drinks off the bill by means of apology which was nice.
When it's a birthday, they have this really loud (deafening!)Turkish happy birthday music, which is nice for the birthday people and fine the first couple of times. We had it 7 times within an hour! It got really irritating.
Other than that it was an enjoyable evening.
Great food, good wine - but we had SEVEN loud and eventually annoying happy birthday celebrations in an hour. No problem with happy birthdays - mine is coming up in the next month - but does it have to overwhelm the whole restaurant so many times? I liked the place, food and drink but the happy birthday din kinda spoiled it for us. Despite the great food I doubt we'll be going back there in the foreseeable future. Plenty of other Turkish places locally with a more relaxing ambience.
Went for Valentine's after having a lovely meal there before. 25 minutes to get a drinks order in. Wouldn't clear plates. Asked what we were waiting for after 1 hour (great that they knew) and by hour 2 we'd be starting at empty plates for so long we left the table to ask for the bill because the order taking for the set menu dessert was never going to happen. When I complained, we were told we were getting a "relaxed dining experience"
That's all well a good, but when you can see the Turkish speaking patrons getting a completely different level of service and have arrived after you and left before you've even finished your mains, you can clearly see some racism.
In short, avoid if you don't speak Turkish or have a short level of patience.
The worst thing is the food is actually quite nice.
Tried to charge us for food we had not ordered.
Reached a compromise!
