Less that a week to go to our Big Stock Car Night out!

had our daughters christening and my nieces first communion party in the marine boat house function room today and it was beautiful. the room was perfect and the staff were amazing couldn't ask for better service. would definitely recommend and will use again :)

We had breakfast here this morning and thoroughly enjoyed it.



We were served by Harriet who informed me that dogs were welcome inside and out which is a rarity.



Excellent value for money we will definitely be backXx

This is my first time here and the beakfast and the staff are so freindy and i will be deffo be coming bk the beakfast is so nice and i will would rate the food 10 out 10 and the the staff 100% i would recmmend and shear this place on my own fb page as well

Lovely restaurant area upstairs, yummy carvery, excellent service staff friendly and Elvis tribute what a bonus will definitely be returning especially if Elvis is in the building x

I ordered a large haddock, chips and mushy peas - mistake! It was like Moby Dick ЁЯР│.

I managed most of the fish, which was delicious, a few chips and the peas. My partner had tradition burger and chips,

which were very good together with Theakstons Bitter.I enjoyed a couple of pints of Kronenbourg. We will certainly go back there on our next visit to Skegness. The staff were lovely too ЁЯН╗

I canтАЩt thank Sam enough for all of her help. Organising a surprise wedding party with only weeks to spare, she helped no end and nothing was to much. Excellent buffet and the room looked nothing but fantastic. Staff on the night couldnтАЩt do enough for us. Honestly such an amazing function room, my dad and step mum were so overwhelmed by it all and I couldnтАЩt of done it without Sams help. Will defiantly be using this room again and so will some of our guests. Thank you so much for making the night so memorable xxxxx

Had our daughters Christening down stairs on Sun 24th June. The room was all clean by the time we got there to decorate at 8.30am. The staff were so helpful before and during the event. We had fantastic day. The food was our biggest fear- having too much but it all went! After we left we left all our gifts there and collected next day! The Marine Boathouse allow you to pretty much do as you please to the room and aim to give you want you want. Again the staff were amazing! Thank you Paula, Sam & the team!

It's very hard to find places to eat in Skegness when you have a dog so it was nice to find The Boathouse. On our first visit we had the Carvery and found it to be good. The meat was lovely and there was plenty on my plate to give our dog a treat as well. The veg was well cooked which is how I like it, can't stand hard veg. Only fault was the Yorkshire puds which had been out a while and only just warm. It was a better visit few days later visited when the football was on and had toasted sandwich and burgers pre match. These were very good. For anyone to moan about the service, just think of how busy they can get. I've worked in restaurant bars and can appreciate the pressures they are under to keep everyone happy. Will definately go here again.

Very poor service to be honest. The food wasn't bad, had better for the price. I felt a bit sorry for the bar man, who seemed to be trying to balance serving drinks and trying to serve at the food warmer. The woman who appeared to be the food server just carried on doing other menial things instead of helping out with bar/food.we were left waiting far too long for someone to come and slice the meat and I almost felt like getting behind there myself! Also concerned that the food would be left all day without being covered up...as it was just left while we were there. Won't go back in a hurry and i'd hate to think how they would cope when its busier. In my opinion the place needs to brush up on its customer service...

after a lovely day trip thought we would get some food before driving home, called in here as it looked really nice, went up to the top level as too rowdy with football fans etc... some of us opted for carvery and others different meals, pizza burgers etc... but instead of letting us know that there was a 45 minute wait on food they allowed the carvery members to get theres while the others sat there twiddling our thumbs. the meat was hacked at by the server who obviously has no knife skills at all cutting us all the fatty bits, the carrots looked like they had been stewing for days , the mash was a funny colour and there attempt at cauliflower cheese well might help actually putting cheese in it. ours finally came half hour later, ordered deep pan pizza and got thin crust, looked like something you can get in icelands for a ┬г1, the burger was cremated tasteless as was the bacon and that was never monterey jack cheese more like a happy shopper cheese slice. chips were overdone, the best bit was the salad. the staff are mostly youngsters who havent got a clue. ┬г40 odd pound later what a waste of money, should have just got a bag of chips. on returning home at least 3 of us have had upset stomachs . i love skegness and ingoldmells but wont be eating in this hole ever again . avoid avoid avoid

Went in there this Weekend with My 2 Grandchildren for food we sat and ordered food took a while to come out

Once food came out I asked for a small plate for my 16 month old Grandaughter to put a little bit of food on to get a reply off a snotty young girl тАЬno we donтАЩt give e tea plates outтАЭ there will be a time when you have children my love andmay need to ask for a little plate

For one of your children to eat a little

What do these places think you should do order a 3.99 breakfast for the 16 month old to maybe av 2 bites

Went for lunch today with my partner and son, i had carvery and the other two ordered off the normal menu. My partners came within five minutes, my sons pizza came just as my partner had finished his meal. I however was stood not moving in the carvery queue for over half an hour. Needless to say the rest of my family had finished their lunch before i even got back to the table. When i complained the comment was, we are busy....no real apology or goodwill gesture....awful service, food no better than ok...will not be returning!

Very poor... all my family came for a breakfast, we were rushed to get our breakfast, while 3 of us ordered a full English and one ordered a porridge. It took 30 minutes for the porridge to come and by this time we had all finished our food!!! And the staff didn't really help us! Would defo not recommend this place я┐╜

On holiday as a family of 10 and came down for a birthday lunch. First of all the man behind the bar was arrogant and rude with zero customer service skills. The first 3 meals came out relatively quickly however the extras ordered for the meals were "forgotten". When we questioned this, the bar man came over and argued that we hadn't ordered said extras. Once proven we had, by the receipt, he mumbled under his breath and scuttled off. No apology given. We waited a further 40 minutes for the rest of the meals (including 4 children's meals). Half of the party had finished there meals before the others arrived. The food was ok at best. Our overall experience was terrible and I think the staff need a lesson in customer service. I will not be returning.

Awful. Waited 50 minutes for a starter that came out overcooked . Carvery veg terrible and overcooked mush. Not recommended. Only plus was our dog was allowed in . ┬г6 .99 carvery on the boards outside misleading as on sunday part of 2 courses at ┬г12.99 . Rubbish food and feel ripped off.
