MARINA BERTHING
Stone Pier Marina, Hamble River, Solent
Stone Pier Marina, River Hamble, is a 50 berth marina in the heart of the Solent at the entrance of the river. Annual and overnight berths are available year round. We run a friendly operation and consider the safety and security of your boat to be as important as the friendly service. We have undergone a number of improvements since 2013, for example; two new showers and refurbished toilet facilities, new security gate to pontoons, a programme of pontoon improvements, including some complete replacements, and new CCTV cameras recording on a 30 day loop cycle. Marine Matters Charter is dedicated to the development of our training centre clients and consequently bare boat charter is available to our clients with a powerboat level 2 or day skipper practical certificate from our river Hamble location. RYA /MCA TRAINING
RYA Training Courses are world renowned as a hallmark of competence and confidence by commercial operators and leisure users alike. RYA training with Marine Matters is a choice to work with a training centre that specialises in what they do best - Powerboating and Motor Cruising RYA training. Also, RYA Family Training Courses are a Marine Matters specialty. Ensuring that you are all involved in family training in a safe way with the assistance of one of our professional RYA instructors is the key to family boating success. Watch your children grow in confidence before your eyes as they learn new skills, from as young as 8 years old. MCA Training will become an integral part of your working life once you reach YM standard. The course ladder to the left can provide the basic requirements for STCW training as well as bespoke pre course training for OOW training before completing MCA navigation and Radar course. Commercial training is at the heart of the Marine Matters training experience where we provide RYA /MCA commercial training for superyacht crews, wind farm operatives, Marine Police, Royal Navy, The Border Force, Environment Agency and Harbour Authorities to name a few.
