Without a shadow of doubt, best chips I’ve ever eaten..

User

We were there sunday, best chips we had in a long time. Girl waitress was friendly and attentive. Would recommend. We were there for the weekend from Broadstairs so abit far but we will be back again soon we hope

User

We had a lovely meal here on Monday. The fish and chips was excellent and the kids enjoyed their sausage and chips too. Very reasonable prices (£1.50 pot of tea, £1.50 big bowl of ice cream!) Will def visit again. Thank you 😁

My wife & myself Visited Rye looking around for somewhere to stop for lunch. Stopped in at Marino's fish Resturant we both had Cod & Chips & I must say they were the best fish & chips, chips golden crisp on the outside & soft inside the Batter on the fish was light golden & crisp the fish was lovely & White all in all a very satisfying meal cooked to perfection & not that expensive just over the £20 mark. If your in Rye give them a try you won't be disappointed.

My local chippie - best fish and chips in the south east.

User

In all honesty the best chips I have ever eaten!! The staff were lovely, great experience:) The town of Rye is beautiful also, well worth a visit.

I love Marino's as much as I love fish and chips. It's an hours drive from home but still a journey worth taking if i fancy a fish dinner. Well done and keep up the good work.

User

Honestly the best Chips I've ever had!! The burger reminded of Wimpy and I miss that place, good service, very friendly and Rye was very quant

Drove over to Rye from Ramsgate with my Wife and a friend, after a walk around decided we would like fish & chips for lunch we saw Marino's just up the road from us and decided to try there, we all had Cod & Chips and I have to say it was the best I have ever had!

The best take away fish and chips in Rye. BUT eating it in the restaurant is too expensive. Best eaten on the Quay.

3 of us had our meal in the restaurant which is well presented. Love the way they've done the menu (on ones place mat).

We all had Fish & Chips with 2 side orders of peas. The food was delicious & piping hot. The chips are the best we've had from anywhere.

The reason I've given 4 stars & not 5, is because it was jolly cold sat there. Not sure if they had any heating on (think they had a radiator at either end of the room) but if they did it really needed to be turned up higher. We ended up having to put our coats back on just to keep warm.

Having spent just over £10 on fish and chips and sausage and chips, I asked the guy if I could have my sausage and chips in a box please ..........

What a shock ......

He said that the boxes were only for fish complaining "what would happen if everybody wanted a box?" Well he clearly needed the money and charged me 35p for a box (and it was a small one at that).

Just a bit of customer courtesy in a shabby little chippy wouldn't have hurt to be honest .....

And IF everybody wanted a box there may very well be an apocalypse but not at the present moment.

The fish batter was overdone and dripping in fat ......

Overall not a pleasant experience.

There is a good reason why the 'bikers' use The Kettle of Fish (on the roundabout), as one of them they have excellent service and even did me an order just as they were closing.

Save yourself the hassle and mannerless ordeal and walk a few yards down the hill.

Never again.

We come to rye quite a lot as it's one of our favourite places, and always look forward to our fish n chips from Marinos , but two weeks ago when we came I'm afraid it was not the same 😒 chips were over done and 'ends' and fish was bit over battered! We are coming tomorrow and am wondering whether to chance it again! It's a shame as we always come to you!
