Fiona has now completed her beautiful Icon. Painted on a VERY large tile, this icon has been fired around 5 times. Yesterday, Fiona agate etched the gold halo to give it this radiating shine. Can’t wait to see it framed!

Looking at the large 52cm plate I painted in 1996 using the design of the North transept Rose Window of the Notre Dame. This was my interpretation for the Paris themed competition at the Paris Convention and for which I was awarded the first prize. It means even more to me today. I hope this beautiful window survived.
The spring term has now come to an end and here are just some of the lovely pieces that were finished off during the last few weeks. The summer term will begin on the 23rd April. Happy Easter 🐣
