Mark Glenn Hair Enhancement Description
Not really traditional hairdressers and not really traditional hair extensionists, we're a bunch of misfits drawn together by a single mission.
To do what can't be done - create beautiful hair, one head at a time, even for those who have very little. And to do it cleanly, ethically and responsibly.
Established in 2001 by a couple of "best mates" - Mark Sharp and Glenn Kinsey - we first opened our doors in London's New Bond Street with zero clients but a compelling idea.
In the first week, no-one came.
In the second week, no-one came.
In the third week our bank manager came.
But our first client told her friends. Who told her friends. We gradually got bigger by getting better, one client at a time.
Slowly but surely, word spread. So much so that in 2005 we moved to a home ten times the size, in Mayfair's famous Mount Street. current location in Mayfair's Mount Street. And then, in 2014, we tripled capacity again with our move to a new, custom-designed studio in London's Kensington Gardens.
No-one seems to do things in quite the same way we do. Which is why everyone that joins us starts at the bottom and is trained in-house. And it's why clients visit us from all over the world.
We get a lot of interesting people through our doors. We treat all VIP's like ordinary people and all ordinary people like VIP's. For many, we're their best kept secret.
We're not perfect but we keep trying to be. Almost all our work still comes via word of mouth recommendation.
And our first client is still with us and still telling her friends.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the girls at the salon who have made me feel absolutely amazing and like a million bucks! My hair, thanks to them, is now on fleek and looking fabulous! Anybody considering having extensions or a hair system should look no further! I was made to feel at home and comfortable from the very first contact I had with Mark Glenn and despite having to travel from London, would never consider going anywhere else! Thank you!
I spent a lot of time researching female hair loss and solutions that weren't wigs. After a year or so I took the plunge and went for a Kinsey system. I have lost the majority of my hair through medical issues. The results of the Kinsey are life changing. It took about 3 weeks to finally get used to having a full head of hair but I love it and cannot imagine not having a Kinsey !! I would not hesitate to recommend Mark Glenn to anyone looking for a semi-permanent solution to their hair loss. The staff are all so friendly, welcoming and understanding. A big thank you to all, particularly Sasha and Amy who did a fantastic job.
I cannot express how amazing this salon is. From the staff to the service, it is all exceptional. They always make my hair look amazing and highly recommend this place! Thank you to an ace team 🌟

After years of living with hair loss and trying every potential cure, the Kinsey system has changed my life, given me back my confidence. The team there are very good at what they do, exceptionally kind and very entertaining - I’m never bored there! They are very honest about whether it’s the right thing for you in the consultation - it wasn’t for me the first time I went and I found it reassuring that they told me that. When my hair loss got worse I went back and it was right by that time and 2 years in I’m thrilled with it. It is an investment but the results are worth it for me. I used to pay for regular cuts and colouring plus every product going that promised to thicken my hair and didn’t. I choose to spend my money on my Kinsey system because I’m worth it.
