Hello!
My Name is Mark, and I am a visiting guitar tutor in Waterlooville and surrouding including Portsmouth, Chichester, Petersfield and Fareham, supplying instruments and course material!
I also offer guitar and bass maintenance including basic set ups (truss-rod adjustment, action, intonation) restringing, rewiring, pot replacements, and pick up installation. . . among various other bits, feel free to enquire!
A little about my experience. . .
I have a Bachelor of Science in (BSc) Music and Sound Technology and BTEC National Diploma in Music Practice.
As well as this, I have almost 8 years teaching guitar and bass lessons of various styles to children and young adults of various abilities, and working in a school in the performing arts department as support for music lessons.
I have almost always performed my own repairs and maintenance on my instruments, going to far as to have once built a guitar!
The lessons. . .
The first lesson is always free, giving myself and the student the opportunity to gauge what he /she would like to gain from guitar /bass tuition, what level of ability they are at, and if it is simply right for them!
I offer half hour and hour sessions, always flexible to the needs of the student.

Lessons derive from a comprehensive 9 book guide that I have written and produced myself, covering basic chords right up to advanced styles, and everything in-between!
