Fantastic holiday park in a lovely area. Not to busy not too quiet. Return every year for family fun

August 2017 camping in back field.

Being honest our weeks camping here didn't start of to well, by the end of the week though we were really enjoying it. First impressions were that it was cheap and not cheerful, bit dirty and run down.

However it soon became apparent that they had a change in management and that prospects for the future were good.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and a big clean up of the club building made a huge difference.

The back field (no marked pitches) was a great place to pitch a tent and I would definitely recommend camping there, its as far away as you can get from the facilities but not crowded like the closer pitches.

Lovely campsite but for casual campers you need to take the long walk over to the toilets/shower area which were horrible this bank holiday weekend. Toilet mess all over the seats, floors. No tissue half the time. The floor was disgusting even in the shower cubicles. Then floor mats need to be cleaned.

Or even better put some toilets shower cubicles in the back field to save the walk for "casual" campers! Especially in the middle of the night.

Nice quiet caravan park, not too small and not too big. Great facilities, close to the beach, good club house, nice vibe.

A good site for tourers. Arrived late after reception hours but found the site security whom were aware of my booking. The site has a toilet/shower block, a swimming pool indoors with an attending lifeguard, clubhouse bar restaurant, kids play area frames and is next to the Romney marsh nature reserve visitor centre. The steam railway passes close to the site. I did not use the bar or restaurant as was too tired by the evening but it looked fine. The toilet block was clean and the showers hot, but the was a horrid smell of drains in the gents but I was told the ladies did not smell. Te waste disposal in the toilet block was on a raised plinth, maybe a converted toilet meaning I had to lift the waste container which was heavy to empty it.

Excellent park with good surrounding areas and excellent facilities. Highly recommended.

This is a really nice park in a good location. We visited out of season which will inevitably provide a completely different experience but the caravan was spotless and well provisioned, the staff were friendly and helpful, the park had a lovely pool and the grounds and amenities nearby were excellent.
