We were taken to Marmalade yesterday by our 11 year old son, he was raving about the place after visiting with a friend earlier in the year. We were a family of 4, on arrival the place was busy, however we were reassured that a table would be free in a few minutes. The service was outstanding, I can highly recommend the poached salmon sandwich, the best I have ever had! My son is very fussy so the request for no mustard and NO salad was followed perfectly which meant we could all enjoy our meal. We will definitely be returning again. Thank you �

We had a lovely lunch in marmalade. The owner was so welcoming and chatty and the food was amazing. My mum and nan are coeliac and so they felt really special with all of the options they had on the menu. We'll definitely be returning!

We found Marmalade yesterday while walking through Chester. We were drawn in by the “Coeliac friendly” note on their blackboard. Their coffee is fabulous and Miss 10 (our coeliac) lived their Victoria Sponge and the fact that she could choose any cake � available. Thank you Dawn and the Marmalade team for making a 10 year old very happy �.

We enjoyed a leisurely Saturday breakfast here and the food served up was of the highest quality and tasted delicious! I had an Engligh muffin with scrambled eggs and bacon with tomato while our son feasted on eggy bread with bacon mushrooms and tomato. Even the toast and marmalade which my wife enjoyed looked lovely and tea and coffee finished off nicely our morning in the city. Would definitely recommend if you are after good food in classy surroundings at a reasonable price.

Visited yesterday and loved it!

The staff were amazingly welcoming and big bonus for me was that it is dog friendly, the staff made me and my dog very very welcome.



The food was gorgeous too! The veggie options were amazing, such variety, I will definitely be visiting again!

Visited after a recommendation for the milkshakes. Found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. The food was good and value for money. We did have milkshakes and I can’t tell you how GREAT these were. So go and enjoy the food and do get a milkshake. Will be going back.

This is our "go-to" in Chester. Wonderful soup and sandwiches all available gluten free, and the cakes are from heaven! Great value too! I love it even more now it's expanded upstairs. It's so easy to eat here when you have an allergy/intolerance or coeliacs, I've never had so much choice. Can't wait to come back!

Had my first visit yesterday and omg you're amazing. Since being diagnosed with celiac disease I've been in cake misery:(I had the Victoria sponge and took the strawberry cheesecake home and they were both out of this World:)Thank you and I will be seeing you very soon. Very friendly and helpful staff too!!!!

Had a three day stay in Chester and visited Marmalade. Yummy food and puds, superb hot drinks. Will definitely pop in once I am back in Chester.

Had a fabulous family lunch for my birthday last Sunday, following the Chester Half marathon. Topped off with a gluten-free birthday cake � especially made by Dawn. I love Marmalade. Food is always excellent, freshly prepared, we'll presented. Staff are friendly and helpful. My favourite place to eat.

Had a breakfast here a while ago and I gotta say, you can tell that they use quality ingredients. The quality of the sausages in particular, were probably better than any where else that I've been. Organic coffee also.

Only negative is that they dont do all day breakfasts. But they have plenty other options on the menu; of similar quality and their impressive selection of cakes will leave you drooling at the counter for quite some time.

Great for coeliacs like me, wonderful lunch and cake for after though couldn't quite manage it all��

Brilliant food my husband is gluten free, and they were so helpful and knew all about cross contamination while preparing food for some one with celiac.



Staff were very welcoming and could not do enough for you.



Will most definitely be visiting Marmalade again.
