A proper English country pub that oozes old-fashioned charm, low-beamed ceilings, wooden farmhouse tables and cosy fireplace.
Marneys Village Inn Description
Overlooking a pond with an attractive church on its far bank and the public golf course beyond, the pub does indeed have a village feel, but it's also easily accessible from central London with fast trains from Waterloo to Esher taking only 20 minutes. If you are planning a day trip to Hampton Court, it's worth the five-minute drive down the road. Our home-made food is tasty and tempting; the type you just want to get stuck into on a winter's day - soup of the day, deep-fried camembert, hot baguettes, steak and ale pie, chilli, not to mention our popular Sunday roast - but summer weekends are also filled with barbecues and jugs of Pimm's in our pretty garden with its outside bar. There's a wonderful selection of wines and, as the nights draw in, fireworks and the festive season provide lots of opportunities to warm up over a glass of the mulled stuff.

We had the bottomless brunch here last weekend for a hen party. From even just arranging the date, to leaving, Tom and the staff were amazing! Nothing was too much for them. We had a couple of gluten free guests which wasn’t a problem. Even booked our cabs for us. Really lovely staff and a great venue. Thank you everyone �

The food is plentiful and wholesome, great atmosphere and a lovely big garden. You must check out the secret garden to the rear of the pub.

Lovely little pub with delicious food and very friendly staff. Had our Sunday lunch there for the first time yesterday and it will definitely not be the last time. Everything was cooked to perfection and the desserts were amazing!

It was my first visit to this pub this afternoon and myself and my husband loved it, such a friendly place!!! Even my 2 children loved it, we also stayed for lunch and I have to say the sausage baguettes we had were the best and the chips were VERY tasty!! We will return...x
