Would recommend highly, spot on food, and spot on service

Went here for my one of my best friends birthday meal was a fantastic night. The food was to a high standered and absoulutey delicious and the staff where very helpful. Great astomphere to would definitely recommend.

Well worth it for atmosphere, food and service. Modern menu with a home cooked twist and staff couldn't have been more attentive even though the place was busy. Would certainly come again when back down from Scotland. A+++++

Really friendly , polite and attentive staff - especially the blonde male waiter .. not been in since the refurb and its loverly inside , the food was gorgeous and portion sizes were large . I will defo go back again and recomend . We ate on a thursday evening had a few in not overly busy which was nice .

Never had a bad meal consistently good food

Me and my family eat here on a regular basis, the food is always fast, well presented and reasonably priced, plus the portion sizes are always more then adequate.

The staff are always polite, helpful and are on hand should you need them. Would recommend 100%

It's only second time my friends and i have been : food good, did have to wait a while but if everything is cooked fresh you expect to wait but the service is very good pleasant staff x

Homemade pie as always delicious and beer battered fish also really good. It's a nice atmosphere with friendly staff, sometimes service a little slow if busy but always helpful. Love this restaurant would recommend it. ��

Had a meal Saturday night with my family for mum and dads golden wedding X the food was beautiful X all came out at the same time and was nice and hot X service was good X will definitely be coming again for a meal

Fantastic meal my uncle is over from Canada and 3 generations thoroughly enjoyed everything we had xxx my only disappointment was to learn that the lamb shank may be coming off the menu..... it's the best I ever had x

We had a large party of 47 people for a sit down meal yesterday as a family get together.. Was great service for the amount of people there was! staff was very friendly and food was nice! Only negative thing i can say is they don't have a baby changing area..!! I have a 5 month old little girl and when i asked a member of staff were the changing area was he said "sorry we dont have one, you can change her on the side bench if you like"...(meaning in the restuarant area) Which is not very nice when people are trying to eat there meal and im changing a pood up baby at the side of them � Maybe invest in just one of those drop down units or even just a normal £2.99 changing mat that can be used in the toilets..!! Anything better than on the side bench in the middle of the restuarant!!

The food was ok but the service was atrocious waited an hour for our meal no explanation given had to ask twice where our meal was pretty sure they forgot about us. The staff were very unprofessional- emailed a complaint to the manager as she wasn't working when we visited but had no acknowledgement from her - very bad will not go again and will definitely not recommend ���

The actual restaurant looks lovely & friendly staff! Unfortunately i was served raw chicken and when I was given a replacement it took a long time to come in which time my partner had finished his meal. When the meal turned up was completly put off. They took the wrong meal of the bill when was corrected I ended up paying more than what was on the original bill. First time I had visited and won't be going back again!

Really disappointed with the service and the food, not even that busy had to wait for ages we only ordered ham egg and chips and scampi n chips drank my tea by the time it arrived, not home made chips peas over cooked fried egg liked it had been picked up off the floor. Shocked !

Just been in, used to be the best, fried eggs were not cooked, garlic bread two thin strips bread black (burnt) just thick in basil looked like someone had poured grass clippings on it. Food cold.



Keep away, it used to be really good, buzzing friendly and good well prepared food.

I have never been bothered that the food hygiene was only two as service etc was good, will not rush back.

Turned up today expecting a lovely meal for my Grandmas birthday and straight away disappointed as we were unaware that the normal menu isn't serve on Sunday's it is just Carvery. It doesn't say anywhere on the website about this. Had to go to the Bulls Head instead and was disappointed with the food there too.

Turned up at 5.30pm for dinner, only about 15 people in the dining area and got told there would be a 45 minute wait for food after umming and argghhing about whether we could have a table. Terrible customer service....

Had a meal with my daughter on Friday 6th July. We sat next to the window which had loads of little flies all over it. The meal came, the flies starting flying around us the landed in my food. There were larger flies all round the restaurant. My glass had lipstick mark on it. We had to move tables and get another glass. I didn’t eat my meal.
