In our vet practice we have always used Marsden scales and they are excellent! And so is the service..

I have a pair of marsden vet scales, the v100. I have had them about a year now, but I have only used them 3 times.They have never been accurate. They cost me £100. I called today for advice as they say My dog is 22kg when he is 30kg and I was told that they would need to come out and check and recalibrate them and that would cost £75, plus £50 per hour on top. Cheaper to bin them and buy new as they are now reduced. I would not buy again. I got them to save taking my dog to vets every time that I needed wormers, but as they are not accurate I still have to take him, so they were a waste of money.
