Just in case any of my wonderful members receive messages trying to offer them a miracle drink/supplement that will be the answer to their prayers - will get them to their target quicker than they thought possible, will be safe enough for them to feed their children a pill or to replace their kids school lunch with a yummy milkshake, that will let them head out at the weekend with friends and family and join them in what they are eating, will be super cost effective AND of c...ourse will keep the weight off for forever and ever and ever...... then guess what....... been there did that and nope no miracle exists - if it did I would be on it!!!
Slimming World is safe for anyone aged 11 to 111 and beyond, our mums to be and our new mums, diabetics, those wanting to lose 7 pounds or several stone - I won't be sending facebook messages to random people I don't know to say that as i will let the fact that SW is the leading weight loss organisation in the UK, let the fact that GPs feel able to send people our way for help, will allow our reputation to do the talking!
Apologies for the rant but seriously - I didn't end up over 16 stone by eating lettuce and walking 10,000 steps a day so I will just continue eating well, moving more and chipping away at my weight in a safe, sociable, family friendly way and like 100+ wonderful members, I WILL food optimise with Slimming World to be at my happy weight.
