It is an amazing place, but much more than just the beautiful Zoo. The field is providing such an extraordinary opportunity for these precious species to live and survive. Survive us, and live further with our careful help. Thanks for the opportunity to see actually we are able to do something important!

Lovely zoo with a wide range of animals all of which live in spacious enclosures and appear well cared for. They have monthly clubs for children with annual passes and seasonal activities. Free parking and a nice range of places to get food etc

It was alright. I personally felt that it was way too big and too exhausting to see all of it in one day. Some animals need more attention regarding cleaningness (reason for 3 stars). Lego animals are nice and I like the small frames saying how many people, blocks and how much time it took to be built. Overall it was a nice experience, but I would not visit again in the near future.

Me and wife went to Marwell after I had a knee operation. We hired a wheelchair (not from Marwell) for the day as I couldn't walk. This was a manual wheelchair so my wife had to push. Not sure if anyone else found this but the park is not suitable for wheelchairs. It was very difficult for her to push me around, especially when it was to get close to the enclosures. Now I'm not over weight (74kg) and my wife is fit and healthy, also not over weight. The ground was very uneven, stoney and full of pot holes. This ground would be okay if an electric wheelchair was used but we had to cut the day short as my wife physically could not push me around any more! Very disappointed. I'd be interested to know if anyone else came across this?

A fabulous day out for all ages. The zoo is laid out in a circuit so you don't miss any animals. Your provided a map or we found using the app more useful as it updates to show you where you are within the zoo. However the Lego section of the app was not accurate in detecting sculptures location, even though I was right next to it.
Animal enclosures were of good size, compared to others we have visited.
On the down side saw many drinks bottles laying around and stuck in benches or fences. Need to supply more bins.

Probably the best zoo I have ever been to. A great selection of animals that you can get really close to. All of the enclosures are spacious and the animals look happy, healthy and well looked after. The cafe we went to had a nice selection of food and was reasonably priced. Overall a great day out for the family. Highly recommended and Will definitely be going back.

The grounds are amazing. There is a lot to walk but it is fine as you have more to see than just animals: Marwell Halls gardens, well looked after plants everywhere. The water ponds in the enclosures are filthy, don't know if they should be like that.
Most of the animals have large enclosures and it looks like they have lots of room torun around.
Entrance fee is a bit high as there is no Tropical world ( to be finished in 2018) and a couple more enclosures are being worked on.
The food is great but expensive.
It is a Zoo very friendly to children as there are playgrounds everywhere

We come here nearly every weekend as our girls love it, and the season tickets are good value. Good variety of animals, do miss seeing elephants though. Road train great, especially with tired little people.
Things that could be improved are the catering- simply not enough choice or space. And I find the parking situation really frustrating- the aisles are not wide enough to reverse out in a large car, and on busy days parking attendants try to force you to drive into unsuitable spaces.

Large open area to walk around in, but similarly great accessibility for my family who find it harder to walk with a free "road train" that takes you around the zoo with various stopping points. Animals all looked happy and lots of information about them. Didn't have small children with us but saw a lot of things for them to do over the day, so wouldn't expect any bored little ones either.
