We went here for the first time tonight. There was a great menu with lots to choose from to cater to all taste. The service was really good and quick. The food was excellent and we will definitely be coming back.
We have come here to eat every year for the last three years whilst on holiday. This is consistently the best place for a curry. The Indian Railway Lamb curry is a great choice, perfect blend of flavour and heat. Every dish is unique and flawless. The staff are great, friendly and accommodating at every visit. Attention to detail makes all the difference and the service is impeccable. Would thoroughly recommend.
Truly delicious....so much food though
Took the kids here last night for their first taste of Indian food. Absolutely delicious they loved it. Fabulous food and service. Thank you.
Stayed over in Carlisle on the weekend of 6/7th October and went for tea here. Absolutely amazing food. I went thinking I'd have a bog standard tikka masala and was worried when I never saw that on the menu, but ended up with a chicken sizzler dish, spicy fish starter. Just amazing, fresh and tasty. Staff so friendly, well-mannered and polite. Always asking if everything was okay, would we like anything else? Definitely be back here again. Well done guys, the place is brilliant :)
Probably the truest representation of Indian cuisine you’ll ever find, I’ve tried many an Indian restaurant and nothing compares to the Masala Bazaar. You can truly close your eyes and be back in India whilst you take a bite of the delicious food on offer. Kieran and his staff make it a super memorable experience, we’ve found our final Indian
Love this place, food is excellent, staff are really friendly and very attentive.
I am never disappointed with the food in Masala Bazzar. I try to taste something different each time so this time I had a salmon dish that turned out to be absolutely delicious. I could tell the quality of the fish from the first bite. The naan was soft and fluffy (I'm a particular fan of Peshwar naan) and my Pina Colada was just right.
My partner had the duck which arrived in a sizzling pan smelling as lovely as it tasted.
The service is always very friendly no matter when I go in (I'm well acquainted with most of them but I'm pleased to say this is the case when any new staff don't know that).
Thank you for the Amazing food guys!
First time visiting here tonight and I can definitely say I’ll be returning. The food was absolutely amazing. There was a wide variety of dishes. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely. Very much looking forward to my next visit.
Fantastic service only bettered by the food itself!
Without doubt THE best naan (keema for me in this instance) I’ve ever eaten.
I can recommend the soft shell crab starter. It was cooked superbly and full of flavour. It’s a refreshing change from the norm and something I’ve not seen on a menu ANYWHERE in Carlisle.
Can’t wait for my next visit!
Excellent food , excellent menu with more traditional Indian dishes as opposed to the normal dishes you would expect to find , very very friendly and knowledgeable staff , will definitely return on my next visit to Carlisle, can't recommend it enough!!!
Enjoyed a meal with friends at Masala Bazaar on Wednesday night, good food, good service, lots of choice and good value for money
Celebrated my sons birthday last night... food excellent & service brilliant... enjoyed our evening very much!
Will be back!
Awesome food thanks very much. Will be back here soon. Electric food and tastes. Staff were amazing.
A really lovely place to eat. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. The menu is quite different from the usual Indian restaurant and we both thought our meals were some of the nicest we'd had. Would definitely recommend it to others and hope to eat there again soon.
Just ordered literally every rice had jalapeño’s in it burnt my mouth off so much I couldn’t eat it it would of been lovely if hadn’t of been for that. And I ordered pilou rice to and the pea rice had it in aswell. Chicken chaat was amazing though.
Food could not have been better. Paid £37.05 for 2 mains a rice a nan an orange juice and water. Would have given 5* if we hadn't such a long wait for our meal. If we had complementary popadoms and onions like other diners it would have taken the edge off the wait. The staff were a bit harassed there was a bit hay party in, however, the restaurant was not full. Food wise though I would definitely go back and highly recommend.
Shame I had to give 1 star turned away at 1030 advertising open till 11 poor show obviously earn to much or don't get enough custom to stay open
Just payed 23.50 for chicken tikka masala kema nan pilau ricen 2 chicken tikka starters first of all chicken tikka starters looked moldy n spoiled with green fur n the Masala i feel as though they just went to spar n cooked me a microwaved meal so im not impressed n wont be going again
