Some Like It HOT - Only until 22 Feb at Masala Zone
Just like Marilyn Monroe in the classic film, we like it hot too!
We will be showcasing some of India’s spiciest dishes from 1st to 22nd February to banish cold winter blues.
... These dishes are not just “hot”. They are well balanced with unique flavours and recipes from our treasure trove of great Indian dishes. These are totally unlike the chilli blasts in conventional UK curry houses.
These include the Saoji Lamb Curry: from Vidarbha in the western state of Maharashtra and the star dish of the region & arguably the spiciest curry in India! Spicy lamb slow cooked in a gravy of dry coconut with roasted and ground whole garam masala

The spices used in these dishes heat the body, from sesame seed, cloves, pepper and chillies, to garlic, ginger and star anise, based on India’s vast understanding of spices that both ‘heat’ and ‘cool’ the body.

The food is amazing but the price is little bit high now but with the quality they provide its just amazing and staff are full awesome and so as manager and chef ... Love this place will go again and again

User

Food and service was excellent. A little expensive but it's in Camden! Will definitely be eating here again.

User

Ate here with a group of eleven. Great food and service. Thanks to the Islington branch for sorting out the last minute changes!

Highly recommended.

User

Thali first time ever had one absolutely fantastic

User

Food was good and tasty but for the portions you get the prices were high. Otherwise worth a visit if not been before.

User

Food was fab, but I think the portions would be a bit small for a man with a good appetite .

User

Food great, typical London prices with an £8 service charge on top

User

The curry it's really nice but the bad things it's everything small I mean they gave us a little rice and a little meat I was still hungry after finishing food .

User

Really disappointed with the service. Hadn't even finished our starters for the maiain meal to arrive. No plates or glasses was removed from our table. Table next to us sent there meal back as it was still frozen inside. Small portions and was still hungry. Very pricey id suggest to avoid Masala Zone

User

Nothing special!! Just avg...!! Had gol guppa n dahi puri....was ok...samosa chaat was not evn close to d original delhi delicacy..!! Mehh

User

To be honest? I spent 24pounds for 2 cups of steamed rice, one of butter chicken (3 pieces of meat) a garlic naan and a small beer. This is ridiculous.
