We had an amazing dinner with my family!! Really friendly staff and,of course,lovely italian food!

Walked in off the street without a booking. Packed out but was allocated a really good table within 10 mins. Staff spot on, food absolutely fantastic. Excellent value for money and will definitely revisit when next in London.

One of my all time favourite restaurants near to where i live. The food and atmosphere here is lovely. I always have a great experience when i visit and the staff are very friendly.

Love the food, love the customer service, love the refurbishment and love how management are so lovely and treat you so well when they see you!! Was gutted when it was closed to be refurbed but went there for dinner tonight and the quality is still 5*! So glad they are back open! #favouriterestaurant (PS..if you haven't been here before, try the garlic pizza bread and pizzas here - the pizza guy is AMAZING and makes the best garlic bread pizza you have ever eaten!!)

Have been going to Mascalzone Edgware for years - was sorry when this place closed down las year, but now it's re-opened the place looks way better, interior is not so rustic like before but is certainly a lot more stylish, and with warmer lighting to is nice for quiet get together wiht the family.



Food is still amazing particularly like the scallopina ai funghi and the linguine gamberoni. There are not so many places to eat in Edgware but this one is like a beacon of light out of nowhere, they really put a lot of effort into getting really good tasting ingredients and the staff work super hard to deliver a good service.



It's a little bit more expensive than it was before it closed down, but you certainly get what you pay for - the seafood is very fresh and the sizes of the food portions are very generous



Service was great and the staff also very friendly and sweet particularly the waitress Svetlana she went out of her way to make my grandma and kids feel at home. My kids are a little bit fussy and she was able to modify the dishes slightly for them and brought out toys and colouring books for them to play with.

Also i got to meet the owner who was super warm and friendly - cam over an introduced himself and to check that everything was ok - would recommend a visit to this place absolutley for sure, i hope to visit again soon

A very nice place, lovely people and make you feel like being in Italy. And if you speak Italian don' t be afraid and do it, there is some of the stuff who speak Italian. I highly recommend it . Good food and fresh all the times.

Like other visitors i have visited this place before the refurb and it was always excellent but since the referb the customer service has gone out the window!



Waited 40mins for my childrens pizza and when it arrived after i asked 3 members of staff, not one of them apologies or even explained the delay. So when it did arrive,the adults food had gone cold.

We also overherd other tables complaining and their waiter sply said to them “you just have to wait”



After finally eating and after trying to get someones attention to get the bill in,I decided to go to the till and play the bill. Only to be told the card machine doesn’t work!! Its not a big problem as the cash machine is next door,but they should have told customers this beforehand.



They all look like new staff and clearly have a different attitude.

Have been going to Mascalzone for years so was looking forward to going with my friend for lunch last week after their refurbishment. Was very disappointed. No menus available on the windows or doors to look at beforehand.

Ordered one tuna salad and pizza to share (we were two females), sparkling water, coke and tap water. Waited ages for the meal, then only the salad arrived. Had to remind them twice for the pizza. Eventually it arrived. We had to find our own plates to divide the food, as we did tell them we wanted to share it and asked for two plates when ordering. Pizza was not cut, which we struggled with because of our blunt knives. Not offered any extras to put on our pizza.

No tap water appeared at any time. Asked for it towards the end of our mean, only given one glass, there were two of us!.

When we asked for the bill, it arrived and we were told we had to pay by cash as their machine was not working. We told them we had no cash so were told to go "to the cash point down the road". We decided to deduct the service charge from the bill, and were told that we had paid an incorrect amount. When we explained why we were deducting it we received a grunt from the manager in reply.

We will not be going again.

Well today my friend and myself had lunch there, very disappointed , you don't expect to see flies in a restaurant in October, when i asked the waiter to open a window let them out, he looked at me like he didn't understand, really put me off my food, so unlikely to go back there!

Me and my partner we thought to book a table for Saturday night since we were aspectig to be really busy, even after that we waited 30 min sending and waiting for the waitress to give us a table, and also she set down Peale queuing after us that they never booked a table, disappointed
