Mash London Description
With eight restaurants in Copenhagen and one in Hamburg alongside ours in London, MASH is the brainchild of Copenhagen Concepts. Co-founded by Danish sommelier and restaurateur Jesper Boelskifte and his partners Erik Gemal, Francis Cardenau, Peter Trauboth and Mikkel Glahn, the company had already enjoyed much success with the renowned Le Sommelier and UMAMI. It was their shared ambition to bring the style and quality of the finest American steakhouses to Denmark, whilst simultaneously offering a real alternative to trends such as molecular gastronomy and Nordic cuisine that were then dominating the Danish restaurant scene. In just three years, MASH’s blend of sophisticated modern New York-style steakhouse, imbued with a twist of Danish informal eating and drinking, has seen it become one of the nation’s most successful restaurant groups. MASH London will see the brand export its simple but exceptional premise: premium quality steaks from the world’s finest cattle, a superb wine list that matches the excellence of the food and passionate, knowledgeable and dedicated staff, all in a location that creates a unique atmosphere.

I went to Mash with my friend for the first time on Wednesday 18th July & we loved it! Great food and drink. The staff were lovely & the live music was fantastic. The gorgeous Miranda Wilford is a wonderful singer, her acoustic set sounded beautiful. My friend & i will definitely be back. �
I have been to mash plenty of times and have never been disappointed, staff are friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is great ànd yes the prices are a little expensive but you pay for quality
I couldn't fault this place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable staff at the bar to discuss cocktails and offer recommendations. Food was fantastic - starters, mains (I had the Uruguayan tenderloin) and desert (lemon Moonpie) was glorious. Not cheap but absolutely worth the money. Would highly recommend.
Great place and would be so easy to walk pass and miss it completely! Fantastic and intriguing cocktails with amazing steak - a range to suit all tastes and budgets! Our waiter was really friendly!
Great oysters, bone marrow, steak everything was perfect, recommended ���
Fabulous atmosphere, staff were amazing considering how busy it was. We loved the food. Steak was like no other I have tasted. Tasted oysters for the first time - delicious. Thank you Mash of London! We will be back x
Came by this restaurant by chance, and I am so glad we did! Staff was friendly and helpful, food was amazing and very high quality, and prices were very reasonable. To top it all off, the atmosphere at the restaurant is great, with ample space and seating. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality steak, and interesting side dishes to pair it with. Special shout out to our wonderful waiter who made our night amazing with his positive attitude!

My favourite place for dinner in London. I take all my friends for all occasions, date night, birthday dinner & drinks and work get together. The staff are just great and the food is always perfect. Highly recommended and guaranteed style and quintessential dining with a casual relaxed atmosphere.
We had a reservation for 10, so a large table. Mostly good service, a few blips, but on the whole superb. One steak not 100%, but the rest impeccable! Excellent sides, drinks and desserts.
The decor is hugely impressive!
Pricey, but worth it, personally - the best steak I have ever had!
Solid drinks menu. Food good. Would definatley visit again.
Ribeye was delicious and staff very attentive. Nice choice of sides (a few additional salad selections would be good). Overall it was a great meal in a spacious setting
Really lovely place to eat but waited 30 mins for my cocktail, my steak was not medium as I requested and was rare, I would give this place another go still as everything else was lovely
Nice and quiet at lunch time had a three course lunch menu with steak and a glass of sparkling wine for £35 each - waitress really attentative, Art Deco surroundings stunning, nice cosy booths, good music, cool bar if you are waiting - really good
Great venue - just a couple of blips - we were a party of 8 & the staff were very attentive - probs a little too attentive tbh - clearing away drinks that were not completely finished 3 times - we had the post theatre dinner which was fine although quite small & the mash potato that was served was very salty.
The food didn’t impress. Tartare was blant, sirloin chewy and chocolate pudding boring. Though the wine list is great. I’d go for a drink but not the food next time.
