a nice sunny day travelled to warkworth from gateshead,we were in the beer garden and had one of their 12 inch pizzas to share between the two of us,it was the chicken in a hot buffalo sauce,when they meant hot they meant hot,very enjoyable,we walked into the pub on our way out and saw several othe dishes being served up all looked very appertising,would i recommend this pub for its food and ambiance i certainly would, we were eating around 2.30 pm on a saturday afternoon.cant wait to come back.

We've been here several times over the years and had variable food and service. We ate there last night and had fabulous food, I had a rib eye steak which was great. I didn't want all the accoutrements with my steak and asked for a small salad instead which was provided without a problem. The gluten free brownie with custard excellent too. The other members of our party also enjoyed their food. The staff were all friendly and helpful with quick and efficient service.

Looks like the new owners are doing a good job and the place was buzzing. No complaints at all.

We took a couple of our friends in last night for a meal.

The food was excellent as usual, my friend and I had the steak pie which I could only just manage to finish.

My wife had the burrito but couldn’t manage it all (she is petite) and my other friend had the burger which he loved.

Great beer and fantastic staff.

Looks like being my new local having just moved into the village.

We had Sunday lunch here and it was the best we have had for a long time I had the trio of meats beef.pork and lamb all cooked to perfection with a good helping of veg roast potatoes .mashed potatoes .Yorkshire puddings and gravy and we really enjoyed it as we eat here regular we have never had a bad meal here and the service is great the staff are really polite and helpfull aswell .would definitely recommend the masons to any one and the place is always nice and clean and there is always a good atmosphere and the kids love it aswell the menu is great lots of choice at reasonable prices definitely our favourite place to go for food and drinks.gavin and Tara.

Very friendly staff very helpful meals were fabulous the only down fall is the portions are to big for us pensioners

I did get a doggy bag as it was to nice to waste

Please look to do smaller portions through the week for those with smaller appetites

Tried to go for a meal on Saturday night but it was very busy. Went on Tuesday night instead. Was quiet early evening. Really lovely pub with several real fires on the go, lit but low. The food was very good and the portions were big. None of us quite finished our meals.

A good selection of hand pulled ales too.

Will def go back.

This lovely place is absolutely fantastic ,I have had many meals here and the food has always been out standing , it’s a beautiful place , the staff are fantastic and the outside garden is immaculate with an added bonus of a Pizza shack , and also you can go out the back and you have a lovely river for sure I recommend this place to anyone, utterly beautiful.

The Masons Arms is a very welcoming place with friendly staff where all the family can enjoy the experience including dogs. The Sunday lunch we had was excellent and I would recommend it to friends and family.

Our first visit to Northumberland and cannot recommend this pub highly enough. Great staff, friendly,polite and good sense of humour. The food was great, proper home cooked everything, including the puddings. The fact that it is also dog friendly is just the icing on the cake. 5 stars plus

Lovely & friendly pub! We stayed in Warkworth for a couple of nights and visited this pub on both nights. The first night happened to be Xmas lights switch on and there was a lovely festive atmosphere, the locals were all very friendly and welcoming and the drinks were lovely (great pint of Morreti �) we called in again on the 2nd night and had a fabulous meal, I had Cock & Bull and hubby had Chilli Burritos- both were fab! We'll definitely be returning to Warkworth and this little gem of a pub ��

Had a lovely Sunday dinner, amazing and roasting hot and Cooked to perfection just how I like it such a lovely little place was even worth the hour drive from Newcastle 😘

Good quality produce well cooked and presented in "hearty" portions. The ambience of the pub is welcoming and the staff very efficient and helpful. It is perhaps lucky we don't leave nearer as we would spend the family silver there!

Fantastic Sunday lunch sat in the beer garden. Thick slices of roast beef served with roast potatoes and Yorkshire pud with a side plate of creamy mash, carrots, cabbage,, cauliflower and green beans and a jug of gravy. Good price too. Would I revisit....most definitely

Excellent staff, delicious food and lovely surroundings. Can't fault the place. Unfortunately I live 40 mile away so can't make it my local but will definitely return when I'm able to.

Excellent for a spot of lunch. Friendly staff and food was second to nonez couldn't believe the size of the salad when it arrived at my table. Worth the money, would definitely go back without a doubt

A fab visit to the Mason's Arms! Beautiful pub! Cannot fault the service received and all our meals were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! 9 of us in our party and didn't have to wait long for our meals!

Service from all the staff was fantastic! Four legged friends � welcome and made a fuss of...including a biscuit treat from the bar!

Visited the Masons Arms after walking from Amble to Warkworth (recommended!). The Masons Arms proved a good watering hole after visiting the Castle. Just tea, coffee and cake but really good and served to us in a very friendly and welcoming manner. The beer garden was spacious and dog friendly. The meals being served looked very hearty and appetising - definitely gourmand!

Not impressed at all tonite, had Lasagne ( my norm), was asked if meal was okay , I said no it was very dry and couldn't eat some of the Lasagna sheets either as they were hard, the waitress passed this on to ( Who ever ), seems as though that was the end if it, also watched a Lady stand at the bar waiting to place an order , must have stood for 5mins 3 bar staff stood in front of her talking not one of them said

Hi, or won't be a minute, nothing , not even a glance in her direction to acknowledge she was even there.
