We are looking for two very special people to join the team at the Masons Arms,
One role is for a member of bar staff, someone with a very friendly nature to look after our lovely customers, possibly one night during the week and one at the weekend.
The second role is a waitress to help serve meals and take orders in our restaurant, ideally this would suit a 16 to 18 yr old.
... For more information please message me directly, or ring me (karen) on 017683 61395.

Just finished baking off these bad boys for tonight's specials, filled with thick Cumberland sausage from dowdings butchers in Appleby, gravy and if you wish home made chips and fresh vegetables
Our special burger this weekend looks amazing! Even if we do say so ourselves 🤤🤤

Lovely reviews for the Masons Arms 🥰
Went here last week Tuesday valentines night, the food and staff were exceptional and at only £12.50 for 3 courses I think it's very hard to beat, we want back on Thursday before we finished our holiday for another meal, excellent again, 5 stars without a doubt 👍
Went for afternoon tea and it was amazing so much and even got a little cup of soup!
Went for a Sunday roast today 3 of us had beef and my son had beef and pork with all fresh veg and Yorkshire puddings. Everything was beautiful atmosphere was brilliant. The staff were amazing, made us all feel really welcome we had such a laugh with them too. We have booked a table for wed night for my hubbys birthday. They have a great selection of foods on menu which we cannot wait to try.
We walked in as strangers and left as friends !
Spent 4 days in north end cottage over new year & visited the pub every night.
Great food , fantastic value and the staff couldn’t have been any better.
A real gem of a pub

The Masons Arms Long Martin is the only establishment in the town. The staff are fabulous and friendly. We ate there 2 nights running as the food was so good and well priced.
Lovely food, friendly staff, good value. Can recommend the sausage and black pudding and the gammon. Also the choc cheescake, choc brownie and choc pot pudding were all lovely.
Karen and the whole team couldn’t have done enough for us. Even helped us arrange transport to/from Dufton which is approx 2 miles away. Two course meal was superb quality and good value. Highly recommend the Mason Arms and hope to visit again one day.

Great welcome, lovely ambiance in a beautiful location. Nothing to much trouble with our fussy 2 year old or my lactose intolerant mother. Sunday dinner was delicious, would definitely suggest the lamb! All in all well worth a visit, will return if in the area.

Called in as part of my retracing Alfred Wainwright's Pennine Journey whilst at the same time fundraising for Cancer Support. I arrived at 5.30 to be given a fiver from a passerby whilst at the bar. I have met some generous people, drunk some decent beer an eaten some decent food and managed all 3 at the Masons Arms.
