Hi, my name is Chrissy and I live in Nottinghamshire. I have had a lifetime of looking after animals from dogs and cats, to goats, horses, monkeys and even pot bellied pigs. Then many years ago me and Alan started rescuing cats. Before I knew it, the house was full of rescued cats. And when I say full, I mean FULL. All of whom would have been left homeless or even put down. I once had 12 cats left at my door in one day! When I came out to the dustbin there was 2 cardboard boxes, when I opened them up I couldn't believe my eyes there was an adult cat and 5 young kittens in each box. I dread to think how much we spend a week on food, cat litter, Vets fees etc. Everything we earn goes to looking after the cats, but we cant earn enough, quick enough. We urgently need food - if you can only spare a tin here and there we (and the cats) would be so grateful. We also need to find loving homes for some of them. They all have their own characters and we will be heartbroken to say goodbye, but we simply have run out of space.
Every cat is neutered when they come in to the sanctuary and is checked over by a vet.
Note from Webmaster: If you need to rehome a cat, please don't ask Chrissy as she would find it hard to refuse her help, but she simply cannot take in any more cats for the moment. Thanx
