Qwerty little place. Aquarium was ok but the holograms were something else. Some were beautiful some were creepy and some were mad.

A good visit for the price. Lots of attractions in the place including an amazing hologram gallery and of course the fish.

A lovely example of an old Victoria spa town. Plenty to do and see with a nice walk along the river. Lots of shops, arcades, cafes and fish and chips. Very popular with bikers.

£3.30 entry and there's a lot more behind the scenes than I originally anticipated! Geodes, a petrifying fountain, plenty of fish tanks, displays, a massive koi pond transformed from an old swimming pool (with 50p feeders nearby) and a hologram room. Easily kills 45 minutes to an hour. The arcade itself doesn't have much, but was well worth visiting the aquarium.

User

Brilliant.. Best £3.50 I've spent in ages. Well worth a visit.. Dogs can go in for free too..

User

Decent but probably won't blow you away if you have been to any other aquariums in the last decade or so. The thing that I did enjoy was the history woven into the entire experience - that did make it worth it .. as well as the town of course. I would recommend it if you enjoy history - if you are looking for an aquarium experience if may fall short there but will still deliver some

Cheap entry, £2.90 charge per person regardless of age/disability
**Toddlers : free of charge

People with mobility issues and or support aids
Could have issues arise with the stairs and step required use required.
At the time of my visit there was no lift in any part of the buildings.
well maintained but older building structure

use of stairs and steps is essential to see majority of museum displays and approx 1 hour to 1.5h to see everything on offer.
Kids were entertained & enjoyed experience aged 8 and 6 years.

Matlock Bath is a very nice place that would be excellent if the weeds and trees were under control by the river. Most shop fronts are kept nice just the odd one that needs attention and a house garden has brambles hanging over the pavement. The mining museum building needs painting.

User

Decent value for money. Above an Amusement arcade. Something different. lots of variety. Some of the fish are really ugly! Also a Hologram hall here which is worth a look. Enjoyed it.

Was sceptical about the size of it but had a great time with the family for £2.90. The fish with the brain heads were cool and feeding the Koi was fun. On the second floor is a gallery with photographs of matlock bath in Victorian times and a large selection of holograms which entertained my 10 yr old.

The highlight to any visit to matlock better than a expensive sealife centre plus you get three atfractions in one

User

Decent games. Some don't pay out correctly after you've successfully won sadly.

This place is Matlock's gem from the museum to the gallery's amazing. As keep koi keepers the best for us is the spa water fed pools the size of the fish are amazing, some stone steps to get up but worth it in the end, only thing I thought was expensive was the fish food...6 little bits is what we ended up with, but a real little gem of a place :-D
