Matt Allard Boxing Fitness Description

What the training involves?

We will work on technical competence rather than just slugging away at a bag to feel good. I will teach you how to box correctly whilst making the session great fun, very hard work and always looking to progress your skills. Boxing is a great way to lose weight, develop fitness, speed and power and your sense of focus and discipline.

Who can take part?

Anyone. I work both 1 to 1, in small groups and also large classes. I run beginner and advanced sessions so you can progress as you improve.

Where does it take place?

At Winners 2000 Torquay, both indoors and outside.

Is there contact in the classes?

No, very minimal in the beginners and slightly more in the advanced sessions. The intent is not to hurt each other; the intent is to work with your partner to improve your technical competence.
If individuals want to fight competitively, then yes, more contact will take place for obvious reasons.

What if I want to compete?

I am happy to make the sessions more intense, and can recommend a fully qualified boxing coach to help you get set up to fight.

About Me, you’re Trainer –

I have been boxing for 9 years. My goal is to become a National Amateur Champion. I am working towards my full Boxing Coaching qualification that will allow me to corner in fights. Boxing is my passion, I love everything about it and I want to get more people boxing, so they can experience all the great things it has given me.

@ryanwheeler01 on the pads for the first time, the boys got a talent for the sport, cant wait to see how he progresses over the coming months.
