Loved it here stayed in Huddersfield for two nights the Friday was a bit quiet until 12:30-1 but sure then made up for it..and the Saturday I just had to go back...will defo be coming bk again soon...

Boom boom shake the 80's room had a proper good night and someone handed my mates phone in that he had lost so all good -’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Amazing since the refurb. Buy one get one free cocktails are amazing and the pizzas are delicious. Would recommend to anyone. Lovely bar staff too.

Love everything about the new place apart from the music

Please can you have dance in one and 80S OR CHEESE POP in the next. I prefer to get lee back on decks

80's place playing '00's music’┐Į’┐Į

Worst club in town, would not recommend it to anyone, the staff and security were aggressive and unfriendly, and quite clearly do not know how to handle a situation properly! Bad atmosphere and I wouldn't even say it deserves a star... I won't be going back again

Worst club ever! Bar staff are very rude beer is watered down and tastes like piss and the security are to aggressive! Wouldn't even go if the beer was free! Needs shutting down!

Went in at 10pm with my partner.. no problem. Came back at 12am and denied entry. The reason ? Partner wearing a hooded top !! Door staff really abusive when questioned and challenged. The decor may have changed but the attitude of door staff appalling!!! Been here regular for months .. very good customer lost for good .. it's a hood on a top .. sort your act out !! Insulted and angry !!!

Wasnt impressed, first time being in since they moved the 80s to the lower lever, its ab 70s bar bur very little 80s was played was more 90s. Shud think about getting a dj that actually knows which is 80s!! Very much doubt i be bk.

The bouncers are awful ! Hot tempered little boys with no customers service skills . I'd never go back ! And Iv pressed chargers on you for attacking my partner ! Was only in the place 10 mins , went to bar by time i got bk one started on my hubby cos he was falling asleep ! The bouncer thought he was on his own , vulnerable & drunk and man handled him & pushed him to the floor! Well bouncer wasn't expecting me ! He also went to attack me! The Young bouncer needs to be on leash! Just went at me & him like a dog! I defended myself and my Hubby ! I'm well known in this town .. I'm not letting this go!!!! And will take it as far as I can with the police !

Literally the worse door staff ever. Pushed to the ground by one of them for confronting them about drugs. And, when confronting the manager, she couldn't wait to finish her cig and get back inside. Disgusting.

In Huddersfield on business and Visited on Friday 7th April and as we walked in the downstairs room is playing r'n'b so loud that the sound is distorted - not a great first impression.... (maybe turn the volume down a little?)



Head upstairs to the advertised 80's Disco as we had seen on the website and thought this sounds fun for a night out, grab a drink and started to enjoy the music, when the Dj did speak (which was rare) we couldn't understand what he was saying on the microphone but then again it was like that in the 80's!



So the place is getting busy and then from nowhere the 80's stuff changes to 90's dance music and it empties!



Now surely if it's a 80's venue the DJ should be able to play 80's all night? Or maybe play a few feelgood 90's tracks that may fit with the theme of the evening....(some other 80's venues I've visited do this to great effect)



After listening to a few 90's dance tracks and some awful mixing by the DJ myself and my party decided to leave, such a shame as it had the potential to be a great night but was let down by the DJ not knowing (or wanting) to work a 80's venue properly.



Come on Mavericks you can do better!

I cannot believe my friend wasn't allowed to come in on a special night out for us just because he had a small logo on his top?! Really!? Maybe if the guy who couldn't get off his phone looked at my friend properly he would of noticed he was dressed VERY smartly, if we can't wear what we are comfortable in then why should we give our custom to you? We will not be returning.
