After a successful career in Marketing and Public Relations working for such brands as Aston Martin and Hewlett-Packard James changed gears and focused on applying his talents to more personally fulfilling, creative and adventurous pursuits. This ultimately resulted in the establishment of Maverix in 2008, the UK’s first year round snowboard coaching company.
Not only is Maverix one of the most well known and respected coaching companies in the UK, it affords James the opportunity to share knowledge and experience through his popular articles and photograph some of the best snowboarders in the world.

James lives in the UK with his wife Sian who shares his passion for snow sports and other physically challenging hobbies.
