perfect location.... calm down and enjoy life...
What a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The beach is great, the pub serves great food and its beer garden is perfectly positioned overlooking the sea. The village shop has everything you need. A real hideaway.
This was our 10th year on Mawgan Porth Beach, it is our favourite place on earth! We always stay in the surrounding area and love spending time on the beach with the kids, the dog and our parents. Be it boarding, rock pooling or just chilling out. I have to say that the life guards are great and do an excellent job at keeping everyone safe in the water!

My favourite place, visit at every opportunity. Fantastic beach, beautiful countryside. Fantastic walks. Local people are so welcoming and friendly. Plenty of places that welcome dogs. Hope it doesn't change ��
My favourite place in the world!! I have come here since I was a little girl and now I bring my four children! We love it!
My favourite place and good for anyone who gets on the beach there.
Lived there, worked there, learnt to surf there many years ago and I return every year even if only for the day ( 484 mile round trip) such is my passion for this beach �. I've travelled the world but Mawgan Porth has a special place in my heart...
I love this beach!! Best place in the world, the light and time of day changes what you see every time! And the fresh water river gives my dog a lovely place for a cold drink and wash the sand off before heading home feeling refreshed xxx
How people can rate this beautiful place any less than 5☆ is beyond me. It has everything you will ever want or need from a beach. Our kids loved it more that us. We will be coming back for many years to come.
Had a day here yesterday with friends. Was lovely although we had to dodge the showers. The beach was great and there's everything you need nearby. Would definitely go back as would like to try the pub next time. All the kids had a great time body boarding.
Brilliant, lovely, little beach manned with lifeguards, and Scott and Babs smokehouse for food. Good little beachside shops, including a little Art shop. Bodyboards a must �
Been twice now with 2 large dogs stated at the Merrymore on the beach and more recently at the Park . Both fantastic staff brill area superb beach to die for highly reccomend either the park for kids though looks Indoor and our are brill Newquay and Padstow only down the road
Been many times but this was the first visit for my Border Collie Odin. He loved the beach and after a long play in the sea we both fell asleep on the beach. Definitely a place to return to.
Beautiful beach & little village.
Really enjoyed our short stay there as we toured through the coast. The beach was amazing and got some lovely pictures as the sun was setting. Highly recommend.

Amazing beach, dog friendly and great for surfing and bodyboarding- had a great week staying in Mawgan Porth 😊 Will be one to return to that's for sure
A nice, quiet little village and is great for family getaways. The views are spectacular and sea is gorgeous. The only downside to the holiday was the weather, although still warm most days - that's British summer for you though! I would highly recommend a visit if you're passing through or want some peace and quiet.
A hidden gem. Enchanted! I am already planning the next trip. �
