“Yomari are a steamed sweet rice-dumpling snack made by the Newari ethnic community, mainly associated with a festival in December held in their honor, Yomari Punhi. During this festival, which marks the end of the rice harvest, women make the fluffy dumplings that (vaguely) resemble fish. They’re made from homemade rice flour stuffed with jaggery, sesame paste or coconut fillings, and steamed. Why they’re sha...ped like fish is unknown (or lost to history), although special attention is paid to shaping the “tail,” as it is believed that the longer the tail, the shorter the winter will be. During the festival, yomari are offered to the gods, and also enjoyed with friends and relatives.”

Small restaurant yet, one of the best Nepali food in London for sure. Portion and the taste of the food is great, service is friendly. The manger cum owner is always there to assist you with his recommendation. Neat and clean as well. Most recommended if you are in London ��

One of the best Nepalese restaurant I have ever been to. The food comes with really an authentic Nepalese taste and the atmosphere is great to dine in. I am also happy to see that the owner is taking great enthusiastic effort to make the restaurant as clean and neat as possible and they are always great in customer service.

I tried few Nepalese restaurants and I can see this one is very delicious! I saw on the menu many dishes that I hadn't seen anywhere else. The waitress was so kind to explain what the dishes were and we tried a few. Simply amazing food! Customer service is excellent and prices really affordable.

Highly recommend this restaurant to everyone out there willing to try authentic nepali (newari) food. Momos are always special, they come with an authentic taste, bowl full of soup and chutneys... .Cant wait to try the special dashain bhoj..

I don't recommend restaurants easily but this one is my new favourite.
