Excellent food and really good beer in a stunning location overlooking the boats and the river. They do breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, with a changing specials board. They also have their own app which gives meaningful special offers. Adams beers sold.

Way, way over-rated pub. Admittedly the Maybush has great views but so does sitting on the bank eating a sandwich. As a professional couple who dine out 7 days a week due to the nature of our business, we were extremely disappointed by our entire experience.

The structure of the menu is rather peculiar and inadequate with limited menu choices.

From the moment the appetizers arrived we knew were in trouble-the best way to describe them is lacklustre and tasteless. The remainder of the meal was equally disappointing.

My wife had the mushroom and holloumi burger which in my ignorance I thought would be ingredients combined to make a burger but no. The burger was a mushroom with melted cheese for nearly £12!

Not one of the courses rising above the category of bland and uninspired.

When asked by the restaurant manager for our opinion on our experience, they handled the complaint poorly and made it evident they could not wait for us to settle the bill and leave.

Great food and drink in a lovely setting by the river. Book ahead as it can get busy. Highly recommended.

A spur of the moment decision to pop in, we arrived 7.40. It was very busy and many tables had been reserved. Luckily it was a nice evening and I think some chose to eat outside. We did find a table for two, food was served promptly and was very well cooked and presented.

There is nothing wrong with this place!! Food is delicious, space is beautiful all year around, staff are so friendly, polite and attentive. It's my go to place! :)

Amazing views of the river, a good sized beer garden and lots of parking space. Great quality local pub food.

Brilliant service and food from the ever-reliable Deben Inns chain. Great selection of seafood as well as steaks. Nice choice for vegetarians​and vegans too. Highly recommended!

Love this place especially in the summer where you can enjoy the food with a great view of Deben River. Staff are friendly and the food is amazing.
