Celebrating Father's Day yesterday with all of our wonderful Dads. We played pitch and putt golf and of course we had cake!!! 😁🥰

National Carer's Week.... paid or unpaid ... you make a difference to people's lives and we thank you ❤️

It's National Carer's week this week and carehomebedfinder.co.uk asked us to nominate just one of our amazing carers to be considered for their national carer's competition. Delighted to announce that our amazing Jay has been put forward!! Always smiling, so friendly, helpful and caring Jay never hesitates to do that bit extra to help our residents get the most out of life. Thank you Jay - you are an inspiration - we've got our fingers crossed for you! #you'reawinnertous 😃🏆👏

It's fair to say that we always have cake on hand at Mayfield View! It's a favourite of so many (me included!) to visit the Teapot tearooms (open to the public 10am-4pm daily) for coffee and cake in the morning plus a natter with friends or relatives. Today's a bit special though as it's Alzheimer's Society Cupcake Day - so we'll be raising money to support those living with dementia, caring for a loved one and for vital research. Every little helps so pop a few coins in the box today if you get the chance. Many thanks 😊

Always be on your guard, and remember that your own bank will never call you and ask for PIN or to transfer funds into different accounts. So easy to be taken in as they sound so professional. If in doubt put the phone down.

So excited to receive so many fantastic entries for our cake design and colouring competition from our wonderful friends at Ben Rhydding Primary School! Thank you so much for all your efforts! We're making a display for our residents today 😃 With great difficulty we'll be picking a winner tomorrow - a task we've given to the fabulous Nick Hancock from Stray FM who'll be with us recording for their Family Show during our Mad Hatter's Tea Party - phew! Very excited to say we are opening our very top floor, very soon! It's absolutely stunning! The rooms are breath taking. The home itself is there to support you, not to take over. You can come and go as you please. So if you know anyone who would benefit from one of our lovely rooms, in a safe and supportive environment then please tell them to come along to our cake festival this Friday and Saturday .
