Head office is killing this store. Way over charging and rinsing the customers for literally every last penny any customers have with shockingly short shelf life of fresh foods (I.e bread, milk, fruit), constantly rising prices week on week, regularly finding large amounts of empty shelves and a feeling of impending doom over the future of the store (and entire business). Have witnessed how what was once a very busy, well run, well led (co-op) store has since fallen in such decline that it can only be described as a ghost town.
The only good thing about the entire store is the regular team of kind, friendly, welcoming staff team I have become familiar with (most of whom are remaining from when the shop was co-op) and without these staff the entire place would be so utterly horrendous that nobody would ever step foot in store again.

McColls head office and management seriously need to sort this atrocity out urgently.

OK for picking up a few bits, but I preferred co-op. Can still get my magazines and lotto though.
