I have just purchased a iPad holder for the car. I have two toddlers, & this item is literally a godsend. No more stressful car journeys! Very pleased with the item, both children can see the screen. Really recommend 👌 Great service.

Went to Halfords first, no stock and awful service. Called McGanns up as needed a product urgently, they had it in stock, great guy over the phone, good price, and even fitted it on my car for free. Superb service, well done, will be back

Brilliant service, very professional and friendly! Got my car stereo fitted right there and then while the wait at other places was about 2 weeks.

I would not recommend. Despite best intentions the staff member who served me was rather clumsy. I had to order new car keys at a price after the staff member fiddled with them; dropping and screw driving them against my advice- damaging the chip in the process. When they wouldn't work, he just pretended he had done nothing wrong.

Th ere is no function to respond to your response, but is simply inaccurate and meant to mislead. I came with a functioning key and left being towed by AA- that is the fact. This is because your jobsworth assistant had wrecked my car key. If you remember, when I entered your shop I simply asked for a battery- I would change it myself, but your assistant quickly grabbed it, said he was going to test it. He moved to the counter inside and by the time I got there he had a screwdriver in the key, and some parts on the floor. You do not use a screwdriver of that size inside a car key. This is what wrecked the chip. The AA guy did not have any knowledge of keys, his job was to simply tow the car to the house, yet he also confirmed the chip had been damaged. At home a key replacement specialist confirmed the chip had been interfered with a sharp object which rendered it obsolete.
I thanked you in particular for being helpful- you were calm and polite, I think you must have confused that for gratitude for the store service. I used the shop a lot in the past and there used to be a guy I could trust with anything on my car; however the same can not be said now. Despite your good intentions, the fact remains, your assistant was responsible for wrecking my key. I recommend training.

i popped into see the guys and get some advice on changing my stereo on my porsche boxster so i could link my ipod or phone , i gave them my budget and told them as i have bose surround sound all other websites and entertainment shops were saying its a massive rewire, also lossing my bose system . they researched it for me and a couple of days later came up with a perfect alternative and that same week fitted free of charge a digital radio interface it linked straight to my stereo no problem , kept my bose system , sounds amazing ,looks great ,thanks guys would definately recommend ,A+++++

Summary: Friendly and polite staff that have good intentions, but don't deliver on the 'repair' service.

Originally told the price would be £60 for my brakes to be tightened, a new rear cogset installed, a new chain, as well as having an issue where a strange creaking noise was being emitted from the brake system when in use.

I came to collect my bike two days later with the hopes of being able to frequently use it again. However, as soon as I reached the front desk, cracks began to appear in the seemingly reliable service.

The agreed £60 price was inflated to £65, and then pushed down to £62 after I explained I'd been quoted a different price. If you were willing to kick up a fuss but then budge down by £3, what was the harm in just committing to the £60 price I was originally offered? I'd seen the technician write £60 on a receipt and yet the man at the desk simply said "he's not in, it's £65". I understand that it is a case of my word against his, but if I am quoted a price for a service I expect to pay the price originally specified for the service.

Then we move to the service itself.

The bike now continues to sound like a one man band, creaking constantly UNLESS you hold the brake down halfway whilst riding. The brakes themselves are still loose and barely tightened. The chain now makes a noise as you cycle, no matter how much WD40 you use on it. On the subject of the chain, it's managed to come off the bike completely on numerous occasions, three of which have been on a large roundabout, which is fantastic fun if you have a death wish.

TL;DR: Of the four issues I was told would be repaired, one had been successfully carried out, and that's the supplying and installation of a rear cogset.

So if you want to pay for 1/4 of a job to be done, for a constantly fluctuating price, this is the place for you. I can't speak for the quality of the bikes sold here, but if you want a quality, reliable repair job don't come here.
