We just completed this little transformation for a couple that weвҖҷre looking to get more from the space they were using for storage.
They wanted something that they could store their books in, but also wanted вҖңsomething a little bit more than just shelvingвҖқ
We really enjoy projects like this because it shows how much more you can actually get out of a space in a home.

Things coming along nicely on one of our current jobs for a client.
Plumbing - Done, pipes moved from surface mounted to under the floor вң…
Carpentry & Joinery - units fitted and last minute changes by the client accommodated and completed вң…
... Next thing to do
- Final sand down of the bespoke joinery in the snug area
- start to prime and undercoat the units with primer undercoat
- lay the sub floor for and prep for new LVT to be installed
Customer is already over the moon with this and there is still lots to do. рҹ‘ҚрҹҸ»
ThereвҖҷs been a few changes on this job and few extra things to overcome that we discovered when up lifting the old flooring. Each and everyone has been dealt with and canвҖҷt wait for this all to be painted and get some photos.

Granted, some of you might say, вҖңI just sign it, I never read itвҖқ but your agreeing to pay a set fee and take advantage of that service under a particular set of terms.
When having work done in your home or on your business your investing money. Money you have worked hard to save up. In some cases you may have inherited it from a loved one or perhaps even got a loan from the bank.
Having a contract for your work no matter how big or small the project is, allows you to set terms that are mutual for both parties and reference the work that is to be completed.
Contracts arenвҖҷt just вҖңpaperworkвҖқ theyвҖҷre a protection for you, your money, investment and time.
- Protect yourself пҝј - Discuss mutual terms - Agree on payments and schedules of work - Discuss deposits, cancellation rights and terms - Ask about and make sure late payments fees or fines are detailed in the contract - Get a second opinion - Only sign once you are happy and have read all the terms and conditions - Keep a copy of the contract along with the terms and conditions

ItвҖҷs almost at an end (well for some anyway)
Yes the school half term and Halloween.
ItвҖҷs all been tied up into one weekпҝј which has meant as families collectively or as a parent weвҖҷve been running around spending extra money on keeping the kids entertained and buying an abundance of sweets just to give out for free to people we donвҖҷt even know.
... Did you eat to many? - I know I did.
We justify how we spend our money in our own ways, sometimes we donвҖҷt expect to spend it, sometimes it just has to be spent because of a particular situation.
Being prepared and having it ready in advance is always helpful. пҝј
