So, here my review of my purchase from MCS Watersports. I going to tell you about my experience with MCS instead of the product.



At first I was a little dubious about ordering from a website that had very little reviews and hadn’t been trading for that long in comparison to other water sport retailers.



I was after a Jobe Unify buoyancy vest, wasn’t too sure what colour I wanted (there was no preference, just what was in stock at the time of order) but wasn’t quite sure what the size I needed.

I looked around the web and there were a couple of places selling the vests at the price I paid, MCS being one of them. I contacted all the retailers asking for sizing help and MCS was the only one that responded.



Still a little hesitant about ordering from someone without any history, I asked a few more questions and each response was friendly and helpful and it seemed that the person responding was actually involved in water sports rather than just a sales person.



I wasn’t letting my guard down just yet and decided to order a vest in the XL size. Clarifying the size of the vests, MCS was happy to offer a replacement sized vest if I had ordered the wrong size. After paying for the vest through his website with my credit card (to offer me protection) it arrived 2 days later.



All my worries and apprehension were unfounded. I felt a little bad about not trusting him after all the advice I’d been given.



I was like a kid at Christmas, really excited and couldn’t wait to get on the water with my new vest. The only problem was the size of the vest seemed to be that of a small boy. I’m not the most svelte person but I measured myself and had the Mrs double checked it.

I contacted MCS straight away and informed him of my problem. He couldn’t apologise enough. He said it was the first time he’d heard of the sizing discrepancy and offered advice on what size to order instead.

This replacement was done fast and free of charge.



I received the replacement a couple of days later and it’s a perfect fit. I eventually went for 2 sizes up from my original order.



In short, Order from MCS Watersports!

His prices are really competitive and I’ve not seen him beaten yet.

For a newbie on the Watersports gear scene, he’s probably got the best customer service I’ve seen, including all the big players.



Will I order from him again? Yes, definitely.
