Mde Retro Description
MDE Radio launched in 2013. It offers pre-recorded specialist music shows which airs via the Internet, we also produce live DJ shows. All MDE Radio shows can be heard on our SoundCloud account. These shows include Retro (classic pop, dance & party from back in the day), Eurozone (classic Eurovision), Pure Energy (Europop, Eurodance, Cover Versions & Bouncy Remixes). MDE runs events such as Retro in and around Bristol, plus a new Eurovision event (with Eurovision Central) called 'Brighton Calling. . . ' More details of all the above can be found on the website. You control our playlist with your choice of your favourite, upbeat, Eurovision songs, tracks from the forthcoming show, exclusive remixes, songs from Melodifestivalen and the Song for Europe shows and much, much more!
... The Karaoke Song Contest is back after it's successful first run last year. Ten acts battling for your vote! Plus, we kick off the event with an airing of that week's Melodifestivalen show. That's eight solid hours of Eurovision splendour in one evening!
We are proud to be returning to Bar Pop, our natural home for this, our sixth Manchester Calling. A friendly, vibrant venue, with attentive staff and management, who simply adore Eurovision. This year we move down to the Bar Pop Basement Bar for a more intimate clubbing experience. It's also a larger space meaning we can incorporate more people.
So join us in February for a night of pure Eurovision!

Hello everyone! We've now extended the event to 7pm and will be airing Semi Final 4 of Melodifestivalen 2018. Then, it's The Karaoke Song Contest at 8.30pm and finally the Eurovision Disco from 9.30pm.
