I have visited this place for breakfast/ lunch over 5 times and i will go back again. Nice food served well and friendly staff. I like the full English breakfast. A decent number of benches outside too for those sunny or mild and cloudy days that you get in the lakes more often :) Overlooking a nice church yard, villiage road and a pub. Lovely setting for a bite to eat before starting your adventures around Coniston or beyond.

Staff were polite and friendly, had a nice range of fresh homemade cakes and pies. Food arrived quickly and was tasty.

We always visit Meadowdore when we're in Coniston. It's a nice cafe in a very convenient location. The range of food is pretty good and potions are very generous. A large range of cakes too.

Lovely cafe serving tasty meals and snacks at reasonable prices. The fish and chips are superb. Very busy in the summer season. Quiet and cosy with a real wood burner in the winter.
