Went to Meatcure today with the wife and kids. I don't throw the word exceptional around easily, but you are going to get it twice in this review. The service we received today we haven't had in YEARS. The rapport we as a family we were given the second we came in, was second to none. The kids were made to feel like it was a second home. Table football and noughts and crosses played with the kids in between serving our drinks (and I'm pretty sure cooking) our food. Exceptional. Now for the food; I ate from the lunch menu, bacon cheeseburger and chicken and waffles. Both, hot, fresh and full of flavour. Oreo ice cream for dessert, wow. Three clean plates from the kids and the wife's recommended cocktail (Mayfair would be jealous) helped her clean her plate from the regular menu. Exceptional. If you haven't been it's a must, if you have, go again. The kids have asked if we can go tomorrow. �

We went yesterday for lunch. Food was absolutely amazing (definitely the best burgers ever). I ordered from dusk til dawn which I knew would be hot. The owner came over and asked if I was ok after coughing over a jalapeño bite! He said if it was too much for me, he would make me a fresh burger. I managed to eat most of it and he came over and checked if it was all ok part way through the meal as well. Fantastic service and part of the reason we love it there! Thank you.

We visited Meatcure for the first time yesterday for our youngest 2nd Birthday meal. I'm the only Meat eater in my family so for it to be suggested by my wife I was a little taken aback, the children do eat fish so always a good option. Upon arrival (1630) it was empty, great for us and the children immediately jumped onto the table football. We were greeted and seated and menu's given.





Lots of 80's and 90's themes running through the menu and a good eclectic mix of music set the scene.





Looking through the menu for the kids nothing was really apparent. Did it matter? The owner "If you don't find anything let me know and I’ll make something for the children" 3 x grilled fish burgers, chips, peas and sides of Halloumi.





My wife ordered the 'Field of dreams' Portobello mushroom with Halloumi burger and rosemary salted chips.





I stuck on what to order went on an owner recommendation of the 'Donny Brasco" braised beef with fresh red chillies burger and paprika chips.





I ordered a craft tinned beer which was BOGOF in the happy hour. So I got 2 different beers to try. Both from The Falkenberg Brewery owned by Carlsberg I tried The Lawnmower amber lager and the Bee 17 pilsner. Both went very well with the meal and were very enjoyable.





The restaurant started to fill up with a few more people adding to the pleasant atmospherics.





Fast forward to the food, which came very quickly, the kids all loved their Fish Burgers, I loved my burger although then noticed the chicken wing challenge, which I’ll go for next time.

My wife also loved her food.





My daughter 9 gave it and the restaurant 10/10, my son 4 gave it 100/10 as did our 2 year old. Myself and my wife both agreed wit their sentiments and were very happy with the food and atmosphere.





Our daughter asked when we could return and I have to agree it is already on my mind.



The owner couldn't have made us feel more welcome and settled. This is how dining out with kids should be. Thank you





Side note: - On reading the ethos and background as to the restaurant it only adds to our love of the place. Free food for kids on Mondays accompanied by a paying adult is a great concept, they owners are parents, they really understand kids needs and parents taking their children out for a meal, this for us is important.

WE LOVE MEATCURE ! had another lovely dinner with the kids last night. It was their choice where to go for a treat after gymnastics competition. Our burgers were freshly cooked and staff so friendly. Best burger joint by far. Love the reward system where you buy 10 get one free. See you soon meatcure !

Visited Meatcure today for the first time after seeing all the amazing looking burgers on Facebook. The burgers me and the husband had were amazing � and my daughter loved her kids meal. Great family friendly restaurant and we will definitely be back! �

Took my dad here for dinner, he is a very fussy eater. However I’ve never seen him eat anything so quickly and silently. He ordered the burger with just cheese and bacon. When we left he said they were the best chips and onions rings he’d ever had, and he would go back for them alone. Thank you for the wonderful service, the wonderful food and for making my dad very happy.

These guys have set the standard very high for burgers. Colonel Parker Tribute is literally the best. The only problem is I can't have a burger elsewhere as it doesn't even compare. Keep doing what you do best!

Second time back since the "refurb" in November. Essentially all the problems that began last year have been sorted. The food is back to where it should be and the service has really improved. A welcome return!

My daughter recently celebrated her 7th birthday with a gathering of friends at Meatcure. It was fantastic. The food was excellent (as usual) and the staff were great , they let the kids have fun and there was a lovely friendly atmosphere.



We brought in balloons, a cake a activities for the kids and nothing was too much trouble, even catering to the kids dietary requirements, and we weren’t rushed at all.



I can highly recommend Meatcure as a birthday venue, good food, great atmosphere and very reasonable prices �



I often bring my daughter on a Monday as kids eat free with a paying adult!! What’s not to like. Love this place!! :-D

Meatcure is a great place, over the last few months it has come in to its own. The food is superb, the portion size is awesome and quality can't be questioned. The atmosphere is great, waiters, waitress's, owners, all more than happy to engage and chat. Any thing you want can be catered for, attitude towards family's and individuals is spot on. I have had eat in meals, take aways and every time have said how good it is. The menu is ever evolving and changes just enough to keep you trying different things but not too much that your favourite will dissappear... Keep up the good work ���

Just had a walk down to Meatcure with my two boys for a bite to eat. Such a lovely personal service from all the staff. So pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. The food was great....not a scrap left on any of our plates. Had a few games of table footy too! Brilliant!! Thank you..... we'll be back! �

I had the most yummy burger today ‘Empire of the Sun’ perfect amount of heat. � � The rest of the family also had amazing burgers. The service was spot on as always. �

Had the 'My Cousin Vinny' once and that was it. Im hooked, week in, week out its gotta be a 'My Cousin Vinny'!!! Awesome root beers to top it all off. Yaga and all the girls are always welcoming, more than friendly and never forget a face. 10/10, 5*, A+. However you wanna say it. This place is an absolute independent gem in Market Harborough!

Burgers were spot on in fact the best i have had anywhere and i couldn't believe the size of the onion rings.



Service was great and the food arrived very quickly.



Lovely pudding as well in the Lemon Meringue sundae.



We will be back on our next visit to Harborough

First time for us yesterday, missed out eating at the one in Leicester and now I have the Market Harborough one on my doorstep. After reading and hearing all the positive reviews I'm happy to say that the reviews have lived up to their expectations.



I'm a massive fan of the burger and have sampled many across the UK, Europe and the States, and this beauty was among some of the best. Full of flavour, the beef was excellent, the chicken moist and succulent and the bacon packed with flavour.

Family meal with my boys and grandson. I arrived early. Was seated straight away. Nice and chilled and never feel rushed. Food was delicious as always. Even when my 9month old grandson got a little noisy and cried. Never once had any looks from the staff. Its well worth a visit and always enjoyable.

Been craving a burger all week, and living in the North of the county its a trek to go to market harbough now the city centre one is shut. However we were over that way last night so it was the perfect excuse to go in for a burger. Epic, solid awesome burgers! Delicious!!

Awesome buzzing restaurant, great fresh food, crisp cold beer and friendly staff who are very attentive... I had ‘Dusk till Dawn’ beautiful patty with spicey beef chilli on top... This is Delicious... There’s even table football....!! Loved it will be back very soon for the ‘East to East’... can’t wait X

As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted as a friend , it does not matter if it is your first visit or you are a regular .

The food is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble .

The Royale with cheese and bacon with sweet potato fries and the Rocky Balboa are firm favourites in our family and are well worth a try .

If you have room then the Oreo Sundae is delicious .
