Medical Imaging University Of Leeds Description

Established in 2002, the Leeds University MSc in Medical Imaging is run within the Division of Medical Physics.

Our course allows students to benefit from exposure to a range of clinical imaging techniques with teaching from lecturers who are expert in their clinical use. Many of the lecturers are also at the forefront of research in their particular field and will bring insights from imaging techniques which are currently in their infancy as well as current imaging practice.

This MSc is designed not only for recent graduates preparing for a career in medical imaging, but also for professionals already working in the field. It aims to cover all aspects of medical imaging, from the basic physics involved, through the different modalities, to the current issues involved in working in a modern UK NHS radiology department.
