What a little gem, only met up for drinks but had food and it was so good and not expensive. The staff are friendly and intentive to customers needs. Will be going again in the future for sure

The food was tasty and portions good. The service was excellent and the lady who looked after us was excellent , The atmosphere was perfect . I literally cannot fault the place and i will be certainly returning soon . Ali bent over backwards to make sure everything ran smoothly and made my big milestone birthday special , Thank you all xxx

The food in this restaurant (can hardly call it a cafe) is to die for - accompanied by tasteful decor and great music plus very friendly staff.���

So good we came back for a 2nd night!! Staff are very friendly, food is amazing, background music lovely and Violet welcoming us in added to the wonderful atmosphere, a great wee find!!

So cute and cosy and delicious food and lovely staff and bosses. Adored the spritely and pretty 91 year old lady boss and kind Turkish chap. Really enjoyed it. Will become a regular haunt for me. Thank you (he redhead of last night who lives around the corner). x

Nice, intimate and cosy restaurant. We went for the 3 course set menu and the food was excellent and even better at great value! Our waitress was friendly. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Lovely cosy family feel taverna right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Soho. Yummy simple food that warms your soul and fast friendly service. Also cloth table cloths gives it an upmarket feel :-)

I originally discovered this place a few weeks ago after walking past it for many years. Like Grumbles in Pimlico it has a wonderful timeless atmosphere. The food is exceptionally good value and always delicious, service brilliant and staff incredibly welcoming. It attracts and host of regulars including the lovely Violet who you’ll usually find seated outside - a wonderful lady who has 101 stories to tell you about Soho. Highly recommend!

I have been going to the Mediterranean Cafe Soho for 20years meeting the previous owners to present owner Ali. The place has always been welcoming and with great food. I don't work close by anymore but whenever I can, I will pop in for a tinto and to say hi to Ali and Violet. All the staff are friendly and professional. A great gem in London that is truly authentic in its style which has not had to changed much in all this time. Absolutely recommend this place. xxx

Great food and great environment

Great experience, lovely food and warm welcome. We are vegans and they happily prepared us the most delicious meal of fresh vegetables, humous, falafels. We loved it and will surely be back! Thanks a lot!

From the moment we went in to the second we left, the attentiveness of the staff was top class, so friendly, which we found lacking in other London restaurants. The 2 chefs, wow!! AMAZING FOOD produced, actually it was so good we returned for a second night to sample different delights. The proprietor Ali, what a lovely guy and the regulars, the WONDERFUL Violet and also Benny, they just made us feel so welcome and at ease, adding to the whole perfect atmosphere. This is a MUST visit n we will be back for sure next trip to London. Keep up the great work, Ali & Team � xx

Fabulous food, friendly helpful staff, lovely manager always takes time to acknowledge you, lovely ambience. .. cannot praise this place enough my favourite restaurant in London and to top it off the wonderful Violet and her stories of ages past x

Fab atmosphere. Just what you need on cold and frosty eve. Fab menu and food. Music also great . Could have sat there all night !!

A true gem in the west end, fantastic food fantastic service, utterly faultless hosting with a super menu, fresh, excellently prepared and cooked meals and a great atmosphere, we adore this little diamond of London's eatery's, can't recommend the Mediterranean Cafe enough...

Congratulations to the team of staff for providing what can only be described as the most fabulous welcome and service in London.... see you all soon I am sure

The waitress was the only redeeming feature. Poorly prepared meals served with little care and not worth a visit. A typically disappointing effort in an area that should give so much more. I love Soho but I don't like my wallet to be taken for a ride. Nor does my appetite for well made cuisine
