Medway Drum Studio Description
Started trading in October 2013. Medway Drum Studio is already building strong relationships with pupils. The studio has also been contact by the BBC to ask Phil Wilson to appear on a live radio program to teach a presenter live on air.
The studio is fully equipped. Two main kits. One a 22" Bass drum rock kit for general lessons and an 18" compact kit for key stages 1-3. Both kits are from the excellent Mapex brand.
Medway Drum Studio provides drum circles for education, team building and breakout sessions. Drum circles are also effective at community events and parties. Please contact the studio for details.
A free trial / taster lesson is available to new inquiries.
We have off road parking and a waiting room.

Yes it's a beautiful day but the pathways and roads are nasty. Due to the dangerously slippery conditions, we are sorry, but we will be closed this evening. While you are all in the warm and probably off school KEEP PRACTICING!

Medway Drum Studio is pleased to announce that we are now official partners with leading electronic drum manufacturer Roland. We have been using the Roland TD11-KV in the studio for well over a year and are super happy with it's 100% reliability and onboard sounds. I must apologise to thoes affected by the short notice cancellations to this week's Monday lessons. As was mentioned in the messages sent out, my flight to Alicante on Sunday for a show in Benidorm was delayed and the carrier warned that disruption could carry over to Monday. It was decided to cancel early rather than call you on the day. All missed lessons can be taken on another day between now and the end of term, or carried over to term 3. In the meantime, here's a photo of the approach to Stansted!

We would like to wish one of our students Josh a speedy recovery from fracturing a couple of fingers while playing football. The lengths some people go to to miss practice is amazing. This is a little note to all our student drummers. I have just had the most amazing day at the UK Drum Show in Manchester. Saw some amazingly inspirational playing and able to see up close and play all of what is new in drumming goodies. I know Mancester is a slap from Medway but we have the London Drum Show 11th & 12th November. Please do what you can to get there! It will add to your learning and boost your ambition. Manchester was truly off the scale. Last year's London was amazing. Get up to Olympia, be inspired and PRACTICE!
