Sadly this playgroup is not running at present due to a change in charities who fund the playgroup. I will update when we know if we can start running the playgroup again.

Medway Munchkins Description
After feedback from the local community, Worcester Action for Youth (CIO) are providing a friendly, stay and play group at Medway Community Centre.
We offer a wide range of age appropriate toys and refreshments for the child and the adult.
This group has been made possible by the very generous donations of kind parents from across the county and the Tesco Fair Share Scheme, along with volunteers provided through Action for Children and my Mummy friends.

I am now starting to get emotional as it was my penultimate session today.
I hope you will join me for my last session next week.
The group will then be closed for 2 weeks over the Easter Period but will re-open with Rachel and Kirsty as the leaders. 🐰🥚🥚🐣

To those who don’t have your mummy here, I’m sending you strength and love. ❤️ To those whose children won’t know its Mother’s Day so won’t be getting something today. Just know you’re their world.❤️ To those who will be working hard looking after everyone again today. You’re so appreciated.❤️... To those who are thankful for a homemade card from a childminder or a TA, put it in a box and cherish it, these little years fly by ❤️
To those who take the time to look after other mothers, even at 2am when there’s a cry for help, you’re there, as if for your own family. For all those kind words of advice, kindness or offering of help. You make the world and our community a better place. Thank you for being here and CONGRATULATIONS we made it this far together.
We got this. Happy Mother’s Day everyone, whatever your day looks like today, take in the nice moments and brush off the hard bits x

We are delighted to announce that the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust has been selected to be the official charity partner for the Worcester City 10k and half marathon for 2019.
Yesterday, we were pleased to meet Steve Cram, Allison Curbishley, Worcester Mayor Jabbar Riaz and the children and staff of St Barnabas School, Drakes Broughton, all of whom made us extremely welcome.
The event founder, Steve Cram said: “We’re delighted to welcome the Grace Kelly Childhood Can...cer Trust as our official charity partner. The trust is doing an amazing job of raising awareness of childhood cancer and improving education about the symptoms, to help earlier diagnosis and treatment. We look forward to working with Jennifer and the team to highlight their work and help them recruit fundraisers to run in Worcester on 14 and 15 September.”

Not sure what to do during half term? Make sure you put Thursday 21st, 3:30pm-5:00pm at Medway, in your diary.
Freedom Leisure will be providing free sports - this is always a great session.
After looking it up and finding the procedure is not as intrusive as I thought I have decided I am going to attend the event in order to register.
Please take a look, for the blood stem cell donation it is simply like giving blood. The way I see it, I get to have a lie down for a few hours whilst helping someone else to get better.
