Medway School Of Dancing Description
Adult Classes
We specialise in teaching absolute beginners to enjoy dancing. There are regular new courses starting throughout the year, mainly end of September / January / April (after Easter) in Ballroom & Latin American, Salsa, Rock, Jive, Solo Salsa, Street Dance, Le Roc.

Tuition is by a team of the most highly qualified teachers in the South East led by Judy Wood Fellow N. A. T. D and Graham Mitchell (Fellow U. K. A. Former British Champion).
We are open for classes and private tuition 12 hours a day, 7 days a week - 50 weeks a year. We holds social evenings in our spacious 'Skylight Ballroom' with a specialised dance floor, soft lighting - licensed bar, as well as classes in our lower ballroom (dance studio) on first floor.
Children and Teen Classes
Learning to dance will help to develop poise and confidence. We offer a selection of Ballroom and Latin American classes for National association of Teachers Of Dancing (N. A. T. D) dancing tests, from 'Rainbow Awards' for the under 8's, to Popular Dance tests and medal tests.
Children showing ability and enthusiasm can join the Latin formation or disco teams and train for competitions if they want to. Many enjoy attending the weekly classes just for the fun of learning to dance!

We love our weekly lessons at Medway. Judy has turned us from complete beginners to something approaching dancers. All the teachers are infinitely patient, knowledgable and enthusiastic and the lessons always fun.
We first took dance lessons here 26 years ago when we learnt to Rock and Roll, giving us the confidence to dance at family parties and our wedding. 2 years ago we came back to learn a mix of Latin and Ballroom, we started with group lessons and now have a private lesson every week concentrating on ballroom. Over our time here we have been taught by Judy, Graham and Margaret and they are all great teachers with wonderful sense of humours (very important when teaching us). We have gained our bronze ballroom and have just taken our silver. Thank you Medway School of Dance. ÔŅĹ
Tremengous patiance shown to the Electrician and Suzy Sparkle. We can just about dance now and will dance in public.ÔŅĹ
My daughter goes and she says it is amazing she enjoys ever minute.

A couple of weeks before our wedding we realised that unless we wanted to do 'the hug of death' for our first dance we'd have to get some help, and fast. The school were brilliant in helping us fit a couple of lessons in and managed to coax something resembling acceptable! They were brilliant and friendly, happy to work with our inexperience and shortcomings and on the night all went well. Thank you so much.
